Which size fits your stop? The losing-trade ladder
Choose a plan, a stage, an instrument, a stop in points and a contract count.
Each ladder counts consecutive full-size losing trades from a fresh account until the Maximum Loss Limit is used up, and marks where the Daily Loss Guard would lock you for the day on the plans and stages that have one. Your room is never more than the MLL, so this is the best case.
Risk per losing trade: $50
The max loss only moves with end-of-day balances, but a live loss that touches it during the session still ends the account.
The MLL trails end-of-day balances, so it does not move down after a losing day and the count to the MLL holds across sessions; rungs after a Daily Loss Guard rung fall on later days, and the trade that crosses the guard is flattened at the guard, so the real count can differ. It is still enforced during the session: if open (floating) losses touch it, the account is liquidated. Daily Loss Guard: Zero on both stages, Standard on Qualified accounts only, Direct always, Advanced never (you may set your own in the platform). The Qualified limits are the first Scaling Plan tier, below $1,500 profit; a run of losing trades does not raise them. Advanced and Direct have no Scaling Plan.
Tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb, not an Alpha Futures rule. TOO TIGHT: the MLL is used up within 5 losing trades. WORKABLE: used up on trade 6 to 9. COMFORTABLE: not used up before trade 10. OVER CONTRACT LIMIT: more contracts than that size allows on the chosen plan and stage.
Educational, not advice. The ladder ignores commissions and slippage, although the Daily Loss Guard counts simulated commissions and fees, and Alpha Futures says the Daily Loss Guard should not replace a stop loss: it sends liquidation market orders and fills will vary. Hitting the MLL on an evaluation means it can no longer become a Qualified Account; on a Qualified Account the account is closed. All trades must be closed before 4:20PM ET. The short answer
Alpha Futures sells four plans on uneven sizes: Zero (25K, 50K, 100K), Standard and Advanced (50K, 100K, 150K) and Direct (25K to 150K). The size sets the profit target, the Maximum Loss Limit, the Daily Loss Guard, the Max Position and the withdrawal caps; the plan decides whether there is an evaluation (none on Direct), its minimum trading days and consistency rule, the Daily Loss Guard, the Scaling Plan, the news rule and how payouts qualify. The only way to fail an evaluation is the balance hitting or exceeding the MLL; it trails end-of-day balances, but a breach at any point, floating equity or closed balance, liquidates the account. The Daily Loss Guard is a soft breach: it locks you until the next trading day. Every plan pays a 90% profit split.
Key facts:
- Zero (25K, 50K, 100K): at least 1 trading day and no consistency rule on the evaluation, a Daily Loss Guard of $500, $1,000 or $2,000, $89, $139 or $279 a month, and the lowest caps of the evaluation plans: $1,000, $1,500 or $2,500 per request.
- Standard (50K, 100K, 150K): at least 2 trading days, 50% consistency on the evaluation and 40% on Qualified, no Daily Loss Guard on the evaluation, $129, $239 or $349 a month, caps $3,000, $4,000 or $5,000.
- Advanced (50K, 100K, 150K): at least 3 trading days and 40% consistency on the evaluation only, no Daily Loss Guard, no Scaling Plan, no news restrictions, $209, $349 or $489 a month, a $15,000 cap on every size and the highest target ÷ MLL, 2.3 (ours).
- Direct (25K to 150K): no evaluation, a One Time Fee of $349, $519, $689 or $859, a Daily Loss Guard, 20% consistency and a Withdrawal Profit Target before every request; no Scaling Plan, the full 2, 4, 8 or 10 minis from day one.
- Every plan: EOD trailing MLL that stops at the starting balance, 90% profit split, up to 4 requests a month, all trades closed before 4:20PM ET.
Watch out:
- End of day sets where the MLL moves, not when it can be hit: Equity can still breach the active limit during a session.
- Zero (except 25K) and Standard Qualified accounts start below the evaluation's Max Position under the Scaling Plan: a 50K Standard Qualified account trades 2 minis until $1,500 profit.
- Requests on Zero, Standard and Advanced are capped at 50% of the profit in the account, so the $15,000 Advanced cap needs $30,000 of profit (ours).
- On Qualified accounts a single day greater than or equal to 40% (Zero, Standard) or 20% (Direct) of net profit since the last request switches the withdrawal button off (the article also says greater than; see item 8); it is not a breach, you keep trading.
- On Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified accounts no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after red-folder news; the first violation is a warning, later ones breach the account.
- Alpha Futures' pages disagree on whether you keep paying monthly after you pass, on the Advanced account limit (3 vs 5) and on the 50K Direct cap ($2,000 vs $1,500); see 'Where Alpha Futures' own pages differ'.
Pick Zero if you want to pass in as little as 1 trading day with no evaluation consistency rule, and you accept a Daily Loss Guard on the evaluation, a Scaling Plan start on 50K and 100K Qualified accounts and caps of $1,000, $1,500 or $2,500.
Pick Standard if you want no Daily Loss Guard while you are evaluated and caps of $3,000 to $5,000, and you accept at least 2 trading days, 50% evaluation consistency, 40% on Qualified and a Scaling Plan start of 2 or 3 minis.
Pick Advanced if you want no Daily Loss Guard, no Qualified consistency rule, no Scaling Plan, no news rule and the $15,000 cap, and you accept at least 3 trading days, the highest prices and a target 2.3 times the MLL (ours).
Pick Direct if you want to skip the evaluation for a One Time Fee, and you accept a Daily Loss Guard, 20% consistency and a Withdrawal Profit Target before every request.
Pick 25K if you want the smallest MLL, $1,000; only Zero ($89/month) and Direct ($349 one time) offer it.
Pick 150K if you want the largest MLL: $4,500 on Standard and Direct, $5,250 on Advanced; Zero stops at 100K.

Where these figures come from
Every dollar amount and label in this guide is copied from Alpha Futures' official pages: the help center at help.alpha-futures.com (Intercom articles, fetched directly on 15 October 2026 and again on 16 October 2026, text unchanged) and the alpha-futures.com homepage and Zero, Standard, Advanced and Direct product pages. Our server is blocked by alpha-futures.com (Cloudflare HTTP 403), so we read those five pages on 16 October 2026 through two third-party fetch services; their plan cards match the help center figures. Where two official pages disagree we quote both and list the difference below. We do not invent fees, rules or formulas the pages omit; figures we worked out ourselves are in 'Our arithmetic across sizes'.
What this means for you: Every Alpha Futures figure here is from the help center or alpha-futures.com plan pages; anything we worked out ourselves is tagged Ours.
Zero vs Standard vs Advanced vs Direct
Alpha Futures sells four account types. The product pages give the evaluation minimum trading days: 1 on Zero ('Qualify in as little as one trading day'), 2 on Standard and 3 on Advanced ('hit the profit target in at least 2 trading days', 'in at least 3 trading days'); Direct has no evaluation, and the Qualified cards on Zero, Standard and Advanced list Minimum Trading Days 5. Zero (25K, 50K, 100K) has no consistency rule on the evaluation, which the overview calls a ONE DAY PASS, and NO ACTIVATION FEE, ever. Standard (50K, 100K, 150K) has a 50% consistency rule on the evaluation, no Daily Loss Guard on Evaluations and No Activation Fee. Advanced (50K, 100K, 150K) has a 40% consistency rule on the evaluation only, no Daily Loss Guard on Evaluation or Qualified Accounts, No News Trading Rule or restrictions, No Scaling Plan, and the largest withdrawal cap at $15,000 per request, per account. Zero, Standard and Advanced evaluations are monthly subscriptions. The help center says the subscription ends once you pass, while the product pages say 'Your monthly stays the same after you qualify'; see 'Where Alpha Futures' own pages differ'. Direct (25K to 150K, available as of July 7th, 2026) skips the evaluation: a one time fee, no monthly subscription, and you trade a Qualified Account from day one. Every plan pays a 90% profit split from the start, no tiered system. The Standard and Advanced overviews say you must reach (+ maintain) the profit target and satisfy the consistency rule. On every evaluation there is only one way to fail: do not allow the Account Balance to hit or exceed the Maximum Loss Limit.
What this means for you: Choose the plan first (evaluation rules, Daily Loss Guard, payout route), then the size within it; only 50K is offered on all four plans.
Key rules on the 50K Standard plan
On the 50K Standard plan the profit target is $3,000 and the Maximum Loss Limit is $2,000, EOD (end of day) trailing, and it stops trailing at the account starting balance. The evaluation needs at least 2 trading days. The Daily Loss Guard is none on the Evaluation and $1,000 on the Qualified account. Consistency is 50% on Evaluation and 40% on Qualified. Max Position is 5 minis, 50 micros, with the Scaling Plan limiting size on the Qualified account. The evaluation price is $129/month, an Evaluation Reset is $109, a Qualified Reset is $599, and there is No Activation Fee; the 50K Standard Qualified card also shows $129/month, which the help center contradicts (see below). On the Qualified account you can withdraw up to 50% of your profits every 5 winning days of $200 or more, with a $500 minimum and $3,000 maximum per request, at a 90% profit split. Standard allows 5 Qualified Accounts (any standard accounts prior to July 27th, 2026 are limited to 3), and any user with an active Advanced Qualified account is limited to 3. The Maximum Loss Limit trails end-of-day balance highs, but a breach at any point, floating equity or closed balance, liquidates the account. Note that the subscription article prices the 50K Standard ($129/month) below the 50K Zero ($139/month).
What this means for you: The 50K Standard has no Daily Loss Guard while you are being evaluated, but gains a $1,000 one and starts smaller under the Scaling Plan once Qualified.
How the Maximum Loss Limit trails
The Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) is EOD (end of day) trailing on all Alpha Futures accounts; none of them use intraday trailing drawdown. It is calculated from your account balance high at the end of each trading day, not the intraday equity high. The help center's example: a $50k Zero Account starts with an MLL of $48,000. Make $500 on day one and the balance is $50,500, so the MLL moves to $48,500; lose $500 the next day and the MLL stays at $48,500. Once the end-of-day balance reaches $52,000 the MLL is $50,000 and stops trailing for the account lifespan. If you break the MLL at any point, floating equity or closed balance, the account is liquidated; the homepage puts it as: Equity can still breach the active limit during a session. On an evaluation you can buy a Reset or wait for the monthly rebill; on a Qualified Account the account is closed. Zero and Standard overviews add that the MLL does not slide to $0 at the first withdrawal: if it was at $49,200 before a payout, it is $49,200 after.
What this means for you: End of day decides where the limit moves, not when it can be hit: an open loss that touches the MLL during the session still ends the account.
Daily Loss Guard
The Daily Loss Guard (also called the Daily Loss Limit) is a soft breach: hitting it flattens open positions, cancels pending orders and locks the account until the next trading day (6PM ET), but you keep the account. It counts open and closed P&L including simulated commissions and fees. The Daily Loss Guard article sets it at 2% of starting account balance on Zero accounts ($500 on 25K, $1,000 on 50K, $2,000 on 100K) and says Advanced has no preset Daily Loss Guard, though traders can set a smaller one in their platform. The Standard overview lists $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000 with NONE on Evaluation, and the Direct overview lists $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000. Alpha Futures says the Daily Loss Guard should not replace a stop loss and fills on the liquidation orders will vary.
What this means for you: Hitting the Daily Loss Guard costs you the rest of the day, not the account; it is not a stop loss and fills will vary.
Consistency rules
Evaluations: on Advanced, profits from one single trading day cannot be larger than 40% of your net profits made; on Standard the limit is 50%; Zero evaluations have no consistency rule. You will not pass your Evaluation until this rule is satisfied. The help center's recommended best/largest day is $1,600 or less on a 50K Advanced ($4,000 target), $3,200 or less on 100K ($8,000) and $4,800 or less on 150K ($12,000), and $1,500 or less on a 50K Standard ($3,000 target), $3,000 or less on 100K ($6,000) and $4,500 or less on 150K ($9,000). Qualified accounts: Zero and Standard carry a 40% rule (no single day greater than or equal to 40% of net profits since the last withdrawal request), Direct a 20% rule, and Advanced Qualified Accounts have none. On qualified accounts the rule is measured on net profits since the last withdrawal request, resets after each request, and breaking it does not breach the account; you keep trading until it is satisfied.
What this means for you: A big day does not fail you; you keep trading until no single day is over the plan's share, so passing can take more days than the minimum.
Payouts on Qualified accounts
On Zero, Standard and Advanced Qualified accounts you can pay yourself up to 4 times a month: request every 5 winning trading days of $200 profit, or more (not necessarily consecutive), and withdraw up to 50% of the profit in the account per request, up to the withdrawal limit. The trader receives 90% of each request. Minimum and maximum requests: Zero $200 minimum with a maximum of $1,000 (25K), $1,500 (50K) and $2,500 (100K); Standard $500 minimum with $3,000, $4,000 and $5,000 maximum; Advanced $1,000 minimum and $15,000 maximum on every size. Direct accounts have no winning day requirement; instead each request needs the Withdrawal Profit Target ($3,000 first and $2,000 after that on 50K) and the 20% consistency rule, with a $500 minimum. After each Direct withdrawal the profit target resets and leftover profit does not carry over.
What this means for you: Payout size is limited twice: by the cap for your size and by the 50% of profit rule, so the biggest caps need large profits first.
Scaling Plan
There is no Scaling Plan on Advanced or Direct accounts. On Zero and Standard Qualified accounts the size you may trade grows with profit. A 50K Standard Qualified account starts at 2 minis or 20 micros with less than $1,500 profit, 3 minis or 30 micros from $1,500 to $2,000, and 5 minis or 50 micros from $2,000. A 50K Zero Qualified account starts at 1 mini or 10 micros, then 2 minis or 20 micros from $1,500 and 3 minis or 30 micros from $2,000. A 100K Zero Qualified account starts at 2 minis or 20 micros, then 3 or 30 from $1,500, 4 or 40 from $2,000, 5 or 50 from $3,000 and 6 or 60 from $4,500 profit. A 100K Standard Qualified account starts at 3 minis or 30 micros, then 4 or 40 from $1,500, 5 or 50 from $2,000 and 10 or 100 from $3,000; a 150K Standard Qualified account starts at 3 minis or 30 micros, then 4 or 40 from $1,500, 5 or 50 from $2,000, 10 or 100 from $3,000 and 15 or 150 from $4,500. The scaling plan article does not list the 25K Zero account, and the Zero overview marks 25K as having no scaling rule. Direct and Advanced have no Scaling Plan: the full Max Position (Direct 2, 4, 8 or 10 minis) applies from day one.
What this means for you: On Zero 50K and 100K and on Standard Qualified accounts you start below the evaluation's Max Position and earn the full size back with profit; Advanced and Direct do not scale.
News, trading hours and other rules
There are no news trading restrictions on any Evaluation account, and none on Advanced Qualified accounts. On Direct, Standard and Zero Qualified accounts no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after high impact news events, meaning red folder events on the ForexFactory calendar for the asset you trade; you may hold through the release. A violation voids profits on the trade within the window and denies the payout until the next eligible date; the first time is only a warning and you keep the account, and later violations breach it. Trading runs from 6PM ET to 5PM ET, and all trades must be closed before 4:20PM ET every day. CME Group products are tradable, and MBT and MET crypto futures count as full mini contracts. You must place a trade at least once every 10 trading days to stay active. The use of AI, bots, and other automated trading mechanisms is strictly prohibited, and so are hedging across accounts, group trading and tick scalping as the prohibited practices article defines it. Platforms are AlphaTrader, TradingView, WealthCharts, Deepchart and Quantower, and the platform cannot be changed after purchase.
What this means for you: Be flat by 4:20PM ET, trade at least every 10 trading days, and on Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified accounts place no orders 2 minutes either side of red-folder news.
Bots and copy trading
Alpha Futures' Copy Trading article (dated 17 July 2026, read on 18 October 2026) says automated, group and reverse trading are strictly prohibited; copy trading is permitted as long as a single user executes the trades and is the single individual listed on the Alpha Futures accounts. It suggests your smallest account, or the one with the least profit or leverage, as the leader account, warns that trades may not copy between accounts with different leverage or buying power, and says Alpha Futures cannot fix problems caused by copier software. Its Prohibited Trading Practices article (dated 30 October 2025, read on 18 October 2026) says the use of AI, bots and other automated trading mechanisms is strictly prohibited across all account types, as is hands-off, continuous or any other full automation; semi-automated trading, such as a custom indicator that gives buy or sell signals, is permissible if you manually place, monitor and manage the trade. It also restricts automated systems designed for high-frequency trading, particularly those resulting in over 100 trades per day.
What this means for you: No bots on Alpha Futures, only signal indicators you trade by hand; a copier across your own accounts is fine if you alone place the trades.
Pricing, resets, activation and account limits
The help center says monthly evaluation fees rebill from the sign-up date until you pass: Zero $89/month (25K), $139/month (50K), $279/month (100K); Standard $129/month, $239/month, $349/month; Advanced $209/month, $349/month, $489/month. Evaluation Resets cost $79, $119 and $249 on Zero, $109, $199 and $289 on Standard, and $189, $319 and $449 on Advanced, and do not change the rebill date; you can also wait, because a failed evaluation is reset to the original starting balance at the monthly rebill, and the help center says the subscription ends automatically once you pass (the product pages say 'Your monthly stays the same after you qualify'; see item 6 below). Qualified Resets exist only on Zero ($399, $499, $799) and Standard ($599, $799, $999) and can be used 2 times on an account that never reached a payout request, within 7 days of the breach. Advanced Qualified cards list Resets None. Direct is a One Time Fee of $349, $519, $689 or $859; per the Direct product page, a breach ends that Qualified account and you can purchase a new Direct account. Zero and Standard have no activation fee; Advanced accounts purchased after July 8, 2026 have none either. After passing you complete KYC, sign the contract within 30 days and receive the Qualified Account in 24 hours or less. Maximum allocation is 5 Qualified Accounts on Zero, Direct and Standard (any standard accounts prior to July 27th, 2026 are limited to 3) and 3 on Advanced, and any user that has an active Advanced Qualified account will be limited to 3; one individual per household.
What this means for you: Check whether the monthly fee continues after you pass before you buy; Alpha Futures' own pages disagree on it.
Path to live
Alpha Futures may call a qualified trader to live capital, for example after 5 performance fees on a single Qualified Account. All Qualified Accounts are then closed and each one that reached at least one payout becomes a live account starting at a $0 balance with an EOD drawdown of $2,000 on the 50K equivalent. The trader chooses the Alpha Futures Live Program at an 80% profit split with daily, uncapped withdrawals, or the Alpha Prime Program at a 60% profit split plus a 12 MONTH SALARY built from 50% of qualified sim profit (max $75,000). The article adds that traders who deny the live program(s) sacrifice all relations with any branch of the Alpha Group.
What this means for you: Live capital is by invitation and changes the split and drawdown; read the Path to Live article before you accept.
Our arithmetic across sizes
These are TradeDesk HQ calculations from the Alpha Futures figures above, not figures Alpha Futures publishes. Profit target ÷ Maximum Loss Limit: Zero 1.5, 1.5 and 2.0 (25K, 50K, 100K); Standard 1.5, 2.0 and 2.0 (50K, 100K, 150K); Advanced 2.3 on every size ($4,000 ÷ $1,750; Alpha calls them consistent ratios); Direct's 1st Withdrawal Profit Target ÷ MLL 1.5, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.0. The MLL stops trailing once the end-of-day balance reaches the starting balance plus the MLL: $26,000, $52,000 and $103,000 on Zero; $52,000, $103,000 and $154,500 on Standard; $51,750, $103,500 and $155,250 on Advanced; $26,000, $52,000, $103,000 and $154,500 on Direct ($52,000 is Alpha's own example). The Daily Loss Guard as a share of the MLL is 50%, 50% and 67% on Zero, 50%, 67% and 67% on Standard Qualified, and 50%, 50%, 67% and 67% on Direct. The consistency rules imply minimum profitable days that match the official minimums: at most 50% per day means at least 2 days on Standard, at most 40% at least 3 on Advanced. On Qualified accounts a day equal to 40% already blocks the request, so each withdrawal cycle needs at least 3 profitable days (the 5 winning days already cover that), and Direct's 20% rule needs at least 6 profitable days per withdrawal cycle (both use the article's stricter 'greater than or equal to' wording; see item 8 in 'Where Alpha Futures' own pages differ'). If a Direct trader stops exactly at the 1st Withdrawal Profit Target, the largest day must stay under $300, $600, $1,200 or $1,800. Because Zero, Standard and Advanced requests are capped at 50% of the profit in the account, the largest request needs $2,000, $3,000 or $5,000 of profit on Zero, $6,000, $8,000 or $10,000 on Standard and $30,000 on every Advanced size; the minimum request needs $400 (Zero), $1,000 (Standard) or $2,000 (Advanced) of profit. The 50% rule is not stated for Direct. At 90%, the largest request pays the trader $900, $1,350 or $2,250 on Zero, $2,700, $3,600 or $4,500 on Standard, $13,500 on Advanced and $900, $1,800, $2,250 or $2,700 on Direct (or $1,350 on a 50K Direct if the $1,500 figure applies). On a 50K Direct, reaching the $3,000 first target allows a request of at most $2,000 ($1,800 to you), and leftover profit does not count toward the next $2,000 target. Five winning days of $200 or more add up to at least $1,000 on those days; losing days in between reduce the net profit. The losing-trade ladder at the top of this page uses CME contract point values (MNQ $2, MES $5, NQ $20 and ES $50 per point), not Alpha Futures figures, and its TOO TIGHT, WORKABLE and COMFORTABLE tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb: the MLL is used up within 5 losing trades, within 6 to 9, or not before trade 10.
What this means for you: These ratios show how much room each size's limits leave; our arithmetic, not Alpha Futures figures.
Where Alpha Futures' own pages differ
1. Direct 50K maximum withdrawal: the Direct overview and the payout policy say $2,000; the Maximum Withdrawal Request article says $1,500; the homepage and the Direct product page card say Payout Cap $2,000 (the 25K, 100K and 150K figures agree). 2. Activation fee: the Activation Fee article still opens with a one time activation fee of $149 per Advanced Qualified Account before saying accounts purchased after July 8, 2026 announcement no longer require activation fees; the Advanced overview lists an Activation Fee of $0, and the Advanced product page says '$0 activation — on every Advanced account'. 3. Daily Loss Guard: the Daily Loss Guard article only covers Zero accounts (2%) and Advanced (none) and is silent on Standard and Direct; the Standard Qualified figures ($1,000, $2,000, $3,000) appear only in the Standard overview and the Direct figures ($500 to $3,000) only in the Direct overview. 4. The Maximum Withdrawal Request article's intro names a Premium account, while its own heading for the same figures says Standard Accounts; those figures match the Standard plan, and no current overview describes a Premium account. 5. The Activating your Qualified Account article says 24 hours or less after the steps; the Activation Fee article says 1-2 business days after paying the fee. 6. Price after passing: the Monthly Subscription article says 'The Evaluation subscription automatically ends once you pass' and 'Qualified Traders do not pay a monthly subscription', while the Zero and Standard product pages say 'Your monthly stays the same after you qualify', the Zero, Standard and Advanced product pages say 'when you pass, you move straight to your Qualified account at the same monthly price', and each Qualified card shows the evaluation's monthly price (for example 50K Standard Qualified $129/month). Ask Alpha Futures before you buy. 7. Account limits: the Maximum Allocation article allows 3 Advanced Qualified Accounts, while the Advanced product page says 'You can run up to 5 accounts at the same time'; the Direct product page says 'up to 5 accounts per size tier', the help center 'Direct Account: 5 Qualified Accounts'. 8. Qualified consistency wording: the Consistency Rule article says a single day 'cannot be greater than or equal to' 40% (20% on Direct) of net profits since the last withdrawal request, then says you are not eligible if any day is 'greater than' that share. We use the stricter 'greater than or equal to'; under 'greater than', a day exactly at the share would pass (for example 5 days at 20% on Direct, or a $300 day on a 25K Direct stopped at the 1st target).
What this means for you: Where Alpha Futures' pages disagree, trust what your dashboard and checkout show and ask Alpha Futures support.

FAQ
What are the Alpha Futures 50K account rules?
On the 50K Standard plan the profit target is $3,000 with at least 2 trading days, the Maximum Loss Limit is $2,000 EOD trailing, there is no Daily Loss Guard on the Evaluation and $1,000 on the Qualified account, consistency is 50% on Evaluation and 40% on Qualified, and Max Position is 5 minis, 50 micros, at $129/month. The 50K Zero has the same $3,000 target and $2,000 MLL with a $1,000 Daily Loss Guard, 3 minis, 30 micros and no evaluation consistency rule at $139/month. The 50K Advanced needs $4,000 with a $1,750 MLL and no Daily Loss Guard at $209/month.
Does Alpha Futures use an end-of-day or intraday trailing drawdown?
End of day. Alpha Futures says the Maximum Loss Limit is EOD (end of day) trailing on all of its accounts and that none use intraday trailing drawdown. It trails your end-of-day balance high and stops trailing at the account starting balance, so on a $50k account it locks at $50,000 once the end-of-day balance reaches $52,000.
How do Alpha Futures payouts work?
On Zero, Standard and Advanced Qualified accounts you can request a payout every 5 winning trading days of $200 or more, up to 4 times a month, withdrawing up to 50% of the profit in the account per request. The trader keeps 90%. Maximum requests are $1,500 on a 50K Zero, $3,000 on a 50K Standard and $15,000 on every Advanced size. Direct accounts instead need a Withdrawal Profit Target and a 20% consistency rule before each request.
What do you pay after passing an Alpha Futures evaluation?
There is no activation fee on Zero and Standard, and Advanced accounts purchased after July 8, 2026 do not require one (the Activation Fee article still mentions $149 for older Advanced purchases). Whether the monthly fee continues is unclear: the help center says the Evaluation subscription automatically ends once you pass and Qualified Traders do not pay a monthly subscription, while the product pages say your monthly stays the same after you qualify and the Qualified cards show the same monthly price. Ask Alpha Futures before you buy. Direct is a one time fee with no monthly subscription.
Can you trade news at Alpha Futures?
Yes on every Evaluation and on Advanced Qualified accounts, which have no news restrictions. On Direct, Standard and Zero Qualified accounts no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after a red folder event on the ForexFactory calendar for the asset you trade, though you may hold a position through the release.
