Each coloured bar is that size; the grey track is one shared scale across all types ($15,000 target: EOD/Trail 300K and S2L Ultra; $7,000 drawdown: Trail 300K and S2L Ultra; 40 minis: EOD/Trail 300K; $5,000 per payout request: Pro 300K), so bar lengths compare across types. ◆ marks a second figure on the same scale, named on each row. Prices are text, not bars. Pro is the sim funded account you trade after passing an evaluation. Figures are DayTraders', except those marked ours.

EOD evaluation → Pro: the drawdown moves only at the close, and a daily loss limit pauses your day. Pass, activate Pro, then request payouts.

Which size fits your stop? The losing-trade ladder

Choose an account type, an instrument, a stop in points and a contract count.

Each ladder counts consecutive full-stop losing trades from a fresh account until the total drawdown is reached. Where a daily loss limit applies (EOD, S2F 50K and 150K, S2L) the trade that reaches it is closed at the limit and you are paused until the next trading day, so the count runs over several sessions (rungs are grouped by day). On Trail, Static and the S2F 25K nothing pauses you, so the whole run can happen in one session. Pro accounts keep the evaluation's drawdown, daily loss limit and contracts, so the EOD, Trail and Static ladders also fit a fresh Pro account.

Account type
Instrument (point values from DayTraders' Instrument List)

Risk per losing trade: $50

How the count works (ours): losses add up from a fresh account at its start-of-day balance; the account fails on the trade that reaches the total drawdown, because DayTraders says the account must remain above the threshold at all times.

With a daily loss limit, the trade that reaches it is counted as closed exactly at the limit (DayTraders says an open trade that hits it will automatically close; real fills can be worse) and the next loser starts a new day with the full limit again. On Trail we assume each loser goes straight to its stop; any open profit first would raise the intraday trail and shorten the count. Over the contract limit your order is rejected, so the ladder tags OVER CONTRACT LIMIT and leaves that size out of the verdict. Where two DayTraders pages give different limits (S2F, item a; Trail 150K, item j) the verdict uses the lower one and tags counts between the two as PAGES DIFFER.

Tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb, not a DayTraders rule.

TOO TIGHT: the account fails within 5 losing trades. WORKABLE: it fails on trade 6 to 9. COMFORTABLE: not before trade 10. PAGES DIFFER: more contracts than one DayTraders page allows but within another. OVER CONTRACT LIMIT: more contracts than any DayTraders page allows for that size.

Educational, not advice. The ladder ignores commissions and slippage. Sizing up after losses is prohibited: martingale (2x or more after a losing trade) and positions of substantially larger sizes than other trades are banned. Holding through the close is disputed between DayTraders' pages (item k). Confirm every figure on daytraders.com and its help center before buying.

The short answer

DayTraders.com sells five futures account types. EOD, Trail and Static are evaluations that lead to a simulated Pro account; S2F starts funded with no evaluation; S2L is an evaluation that leads to a live account. Size sets the profit target, total drawdown, daily loss limit, contracts, price and Pro payout floors; the type sets how the drawdown moves (EOD at the close, Trail intraday including open profit, Static never) and whether a daily loss limit pauses your day (EOD, S2F 50K and 150K, S2L). Pro pays a 100% simulated profit split; DayTraders says it currently transitions around 1% of traders that come through the sim funded program to live, where the split is 80/20. There are no resets: a failed account means buying a new one.

Key facts:

  • 25K: EOD $80 ($1,500 target / $1,000 drawdown / $800 daily), Trail $55 ($1,500 / $1,500), Static $40 ($2,500 / $750 fixed), S2F $222 ($1,000 limit, no daily limit).
  • 50K: EOD $105 ($3,000 / $2,000 EOD Trailing / $1,250 daily / 10 [100 Micros]), Trail $70 ($3,000 / $2,500 intraday), Static $50 ($3,750 / $1,000 fixed / 6 [60 Micros]), S2F $342.
  • 100K: Static only, $75: $5,750 target, $1,500 fixed drawdown (the balance must stay above $98,500), 8 [80 Micros].
  • 150K: EOD $225 with 12 [120 Micros] vs Trail $100 with 20 [200 Micros] (24 in one article, item j) at the same $8,500 target; Static $90 ($6,750 / $1,750); S2F $495.
  • 300K: EOD $400 ($15,000 / $6,500 / $3,250 daily) and Trail $140 ($15,000 / $7,000), both 40 [400 Micros]; Pro max $5,000 per request.
  • S2L: Core $179, Edge $319, Ultra $449; 8 Qualifying Days at 25% consistency, then a live account with daily payouts at 80/20.

Watch out:

  • Pro consistency tightens from 50% to 30%, and Pro payouts need 8 Qualifying Days plus a balance floor (50K: $52,600 to request, $52,000 after).
  • 100K Pro: $103,100 to request but $103,000 after leaves $100, below the $500 minimum, so a first payout needs $103,500 (ours).
  • Trail follows open profit intraday: a trade that runs up and then reverses can fail you mid-trade.
  • EOD Pro activation: within 10 days of passing in the EOD article vs 30 days in the activation article (item e).
  • Holding through the close: the Evaluation Account Rules and S2F articles allow it; the Closing Trades article and the Terms of Use say close before 4:59 PM ET / 5:00 PM ET / CST (item k). Confirm with support first.
  • S2F contracts: widget 2 / 10 / 24 vs S2F article 1 / 5 / 12 (item a); Trail 150K 20 vs 24 (item j). An order over your limit is rejected.
  • Stop trading once you pass: falling back below the target can void the pass. No resets.
  • S2L: moving to live closes your other active accounts, including Pro, S2F and evaluation accounts.

Pick Static 25K if you want the lowest list price ($40) and a fixed $750 drawdown that never moves; volume pricing goes down to $35 on a 25K Trail at fifteen accounts.

Pick EOD 50K if you want a drawdown that only moves at the close and a $1,250 daily loss limit that pauses you before the $2,000 drawdown, for $105.

Pick Trail 50K if you want a bigger $2,500 drawdown with no daily loss limit for $70 and can manage an intraday trail on open profit.

Pick Static 100K if you want the only 100K evaluation: $5,750 target, $1,500 fixed drawdown, $75.

Pick Trail 150K if you want 20 [200 Micros] (24 in one article, item j) at the $8,500 target for $100 (EOD 150K allows 12 [120 Micros] for $225).

Pick EOD 300K if you want 40 [400 Micros] with a $3,250 daily loss limit that stops a bad day before the $6,500 drawdown.

Pick S2F 50K if you want to skip the evaluation at $342 and can reach a $3,500 first payout target over 10 Qualifying Days at 20% consistency.

Pick S2L Core if you want a route to a live 80/20 account for $179 and can pass 8 Qualifying Days at 25% consistency.

Full summary

DayTraders.com (Day Traders) sells five futures account types: EOD, Trail and Static evaluations that lead to a simulated Pro account, S2F (Straight to Funded) accounts with no evaluation, and S2L (Straight to Live) evaluations that lead to a live account. On the 50K EOD evaluation the profit target is $3,000, the total drawdown is $2,000 EOD Trailing, the daily loss limit is $1,250, consistency is 50% and the limit is 10 [100 Micros]; you need 2 Qualifying Days, each with at least $200 profit. The pricing widget shows $105 per account for the 50K EOD on Rithmic, and the Pro account costs a $5 one-time activation fee. Pro accounts pay a 100% simulated profit split, but a payout needs 8 Qualifying Days, a $52,600 balance on a 50K and is capped at $2,000 per request; DayTraders says it moves around 1% of sim funded traders to live, where the split is 80/20. Every figure is copied from daytraders.com and its help center as read on 15 October 2026 and checked again on 16 October 2026; where DayTraders' own pages disagree we show both.

Plain-language terms

Qualifying Day (QDay)A trading day with net profit at or above the minimum daily profit for your size and within the consistency rule; 2 to pass an evaluation, 8 between Pro payouts, 10 for S2F, 8 to pass S2L.
Minimum daily profit$100 on 25K, $200 on 50K, $300 on 100K and 150K, $400 on 300K; days below it do not count.
EOD TrailingThe drawdown floor moves up once a day from your end-of-day balance and never intraday; on Pro it stops at your starting balance.
Intraday Trailing (Trail, Full)The floor follows your highest live balance, including open profit, so a reversal can fail you mid-trade.
Static drawdownA fixed floor set at the start that never moves, whatever you make.
Total drawdown / thresholdThe most the account can lose. DayTraders says it must remain above the threshold at all times and that dropping below it at any time breaches the account; we count touching it as a fail.
Daily loss limit (DLL)A per-day loss cap on EOD, S2F 50K/150K and S2L. Hitting it pauses trading until the next trading day and closes the open trade; pages call it hard or soft (item l).
Consistency ruleNo single day may exceed a share of total profit: 50% in evaluations, 30% in Pro, 20% on S2F, 25% on S2L. Out of consistency blocks a pass or payout; it is not a fail.
Pro accountThe simulated funded account after an EOD, Trail or Static pass; same limits as the evaluation, 100% simulated profit split.
Activation fee$5 one-time to open a Pro account; S2L has no activation fee.
S2F (Straight to Funded)A simulated funded account with no evaluation, an EOD drawdown, a daily loss limit on 50K and 150K, and a profit target before each payout.
S2L (Straight to Live)An evaluation that leads to a live account: Core, Edge and Ultra plans by buying power.
Minimum balance to request / afterThe Pro balance you need before a payout request and the balance that must remain after it (50K: $52,600 and $52,000).
Live buffer and lockOn S2L live accounts the drawdown locks at the initial balance once the highest open balance reaches start plus drawdown; you withdraw above a $1,000 buffer.
Pages differA tag meaning two official DayTraders pages give different figures for the same thing; see the lettered list in Where DayTraders' own pages differ.
OursTradeDesk HQ arithmetic from DayTraders' published figures (ratios, floors, day counts, costs, ladder tags), not a figure DayTraders prints.

Where these figures come from

All figures come from daytraders.com (the pricing widget on the home page and the /promo page) and the DayTraders help center at daytraders.com/help, read in English on 15 October 2026. On 16 October 2026 we fetched all 165 help-center articles, the home page and the /promo page again: the pricing widget and every rule article used here were unchanged. The Instrument List gives the point values our losing-trade ladder uses: $2 per point on MNQ, $5 on MES, $20 on NQ and $50 on ES. The Terms of Use page prints Last Updated: March 5, 2025, while the help center stamps that article as updated on 16 March 2026. The EOD Account Rules article matches the pricing widget on every EOD figure, so the EOD rows rest on both. Prices are the widget's Rithmic prices; DayTraders says prices shown are Rithmic and other platforms are priced separately. The Evaluation Account Sizes, Fees, and Details article also has an S2F table whose 50K figures ($3,750 target, $1,000 drawdown) match its own Static table and include a profit target that S2F accounts do not have, so we treat that table as stale and use the pricing widget and the two S2F articles instead. Where two DayTraders pages give different figures we say so below rather than pick one.

What this means for you: Every DayTraders figure here comes from daytraders.com or its help center, re-checked on 16 October 2026 with no changes; anything we worked out ourselves is tagged Ours.

EOD evaluation: the 50K in detail

The 50K EOD evaluation has a $3,000 profit target, a $2,000 total drawdown that is EOD Trailing, a $1,250 daily loss limit and a limit of 10 [100 Micros]. The EOD Trailing Drawdown locks in each night based on your session's ending balance; it does not trail intraday. In a Pro account it stops moving once it reaches your starting balance. The daily loss limit is a hard limit: breaching it pauses the account for the day and auto-closes the open trade, regardless of your overall balance. In DayTraders' words, breaching this limit on any day results in your account being paused for the day, and an open trade that hits it will automatically close. You need a minimum of 2 Qualifying Days even if the target is reached earlier. A Qualifying Day is a day with net profit of at least the minimum daily profit ($200 on a 50K) that is within the consistency rule. Consistency is 50% in the evaluation: no single day can be larger than 50% of total simulated profits, and DayTraders allows a small variance, so 51% on day one and 49% on day two still passes. Once you pass, stop trading, because falling back below the profit target can void the pass. You can hold at most 5 EOD accounts at a time. The pricing widget marks EOD as New, and the Funded Account Rules article still describes Pro drawdowns as static or intraday trailing only, so the Pro EOD rules rest on the EOD Account Rules article alone and may change.

What this means for you: EOD trails only at the close, but its daily loss limit pauses you for the day and closes the trade that hits it; pass with 2 Qualifying Days inside 50% consistency, then stop trading.

Trail and Static evaluations

Trail accounts (called Full accounts in older articles) use an intraday trailing drawdown that follows your highest live balance, including unrealised profit, and can fail the account mid-trade. The 50K has a $3,000 target, a $2,500 drawdown, no daily loss limit and 10 [100 Micros], for $70. The 150K Trail is listed at 20 [200 Micros] by the pricing widget and the sizes article but at 24 Minis / 240 Micros by the contract overview article (item j). Static accounts have a fixed drawdown that never moves: on the 100K it is $1,500, so the balance must stay above $98,500. The 50K Static has a $3,750 target and a $1,000 drawdown with 6 [60 Micros], for $50; the 25K Static at $40 is the cheapest single account at list price. All three evaluations share the 2 Qualifying Days minimum, the minimum daily profit table ($100 to $400 by size) and the 50% evaluation consistency rule. The limits articles now say you can hold unlimited Evaluation Accounts (one older box still says up to 15, item i), and there is no maximum number of days to hit the profit target.

What this means for you: Trail gives more drawdown for less money but follows open profit intraday; Static never moves, so it is the most predictable floor, with the smallest drawdowns.

Pro accounts: activation, consistency and payouts

After passing, you sign the Pro agreement and pay a $5 one-time activation fee; the Pro account keeps the same drawdown type and figures as the evaluation it came from. Pro consistency tightens to 30%: no single day can be more than 30% of total profit in the payout cycle. DayTraders describes a 100% simulated profit split in your Pro account. A payout request needs 8 Qualifying Days in the cycle (the request day does not count), a minimum request of $500, and on a 50K a balance of $52,600 before the request and $52,000 after it, with $2,000 max per request. Requests approved before 5:00 PM ET reflect the same day. DayTraders says it currently transitions around 1% of traders that come through the sim funded program to live. If you are moved to live during a payout and your total payouts exceed $10,000, 50% of the payout goes to your payout method and 50% is allocated to your live account. You can hold up to 15 funded accounts, of which at most 5 can be S2F.

What this means for you: Pro keeps your evaluation limits but tightens consistency to 30% and adds payout floors; plan on 8 Qualifying Days and a balance cushion before the first $500 request.

S2F: Straight to Funded

S2F accounts skip the evaluation and start in a simulated funded account with an EOD trailing drawdown that stops at the initial balance. The pricing widget shows $222 for the 25K, $342 for the 50K and $495 for the 150K. On the 50K the maximum loss limit is $2,500 and the daily loss limit is $1,250; hitting the daily limit is a soft breach that liquidates positions and locks the account until the following trading day. S2F payouts need 10 Qualifying Days per cycle and 20% consistency, and each payout has its own profit target between payouts: $3,500 for the first, $3,000 for the second and $2,500 from the third on a 50K, with $2,000 max per request. You can hold up to 5 S2F accounts.

What this means for you: S2F skips the evaluation but costs more up front, uses a 20% consistency rule and 10 Qualifying Days, and each payout has its own profit target.

S2L: Straight to Live

S2L evaluations lead to a live account rather than a simulated one. The Core Live Plan ($50,000 buying power, $179) needs a $3,000 target with a $2,000 intraday trailing drawdown, a $1,000 daily loss limit, 2 [20 Micros], 8 Qualifying Days and 25% consistency. Edge ($150,000, $319) and Ultra ($300,000, $449) scale up from there. On the live account contracts drop (1 [10 Micros] on Core), there is no consistency rule or minimum daily profit, payouts are daily and all live accounts operate on an 80/20 profit split. Live accounts require a $1,000 buffer above the initial balance (on a $50,000 account you may withdraw funds above $51,000), and payouts unlock only once the trailing drawdown has locked at the initial balance. It locks once the highest unrealised balance reaches the starting balance plus the drawdown: $52,000 on Core, $154,500 on Edge and $307,000 on Ultra. The S2L article adds that the DLL is calculated from the start of the trading day, and you may hold up to 5 S2L evaluation accounts and 5 live accounts. For S2L accounts passed on or after 8/12/26, only one passed account is activated at a time. Moving to live closes any remaining sim accounts.

What this means for you: S2L is the route to a live 80/20 account: pass 8 Qualifying Days at 25% consistency, then withdraw daily above a $1,000 buffer once the drawdown locks.

Pricing, billing, resets and other rules

DayTraders' /promo page says Real prices, no coupon required, and describes the widget prices as what you pay. The home page FAQ says evaluation fees are one-time payments with no monthly subscriptions and that volume pricing goes down to $35 on a 25K Trail at fifteen accounts. Resetting evaluation accounts is not available: a failed account means buying a new one, and a failed Pro account cannot be reset either, although DayTraders says a discount code will be sent to your email the day after your Pro Account fails (the rules article adds: for any Trailing Evaluation Account). Accounts must stay active: a one-time (lifetime) account needs 4 trading days within a rolling 30-day period, each meeting the minimum daily profit; the activity articles give monthly accounts 1 such day per 30-day billing cycle (see item g). News trading and DCA are allowed; hedging across accounts and high-frequency trading are not. Martingale is prohibited too: you may not increase your position size by 2x or more after a losing trade, and the Terms of Use also list gap trading and opening positions of substantially larger sizes than other trades among prohibited practices. Exceeding your contract limit will result in your order being rejected. You may hold positions past 4:59PM ET and over the weekend, but mark-to-market adjustments can push the account into its drawdown, and DayTraders will not close positions for you. Other DayTraders pages say all positions should be closed before the close; see item (k) before you hold through it.

What this means for you: No resets and no coupon hunting: you pay the listed price per account, keep accounts active with qualifying days, and avoid martingale, hedging and oversized positions.

Bots and copy trading

DayTraders' help article Can I Trade With AI, Automations, Scripts, or Algorithms? (dated 1 October 2026, read on 18 October 2026) answers Yes: bots, scripts and custom algorithms are allowed if they follow all account rules and do not qualify as High-Frequency Trading. A bot must not place orders in milliseconds, rapidly spam orders or use latency-based execution, and must follow your account's risk limits. You are responsible for all trades your bots place, and DayTraders gives no support for custom setups: in its words, you are responsible for all activity on your account, including trades placed by AI tools, bots, scripts and third-party tools. On copying, the article Why Trade Multiple Evaluation Accounts? (updated 22 February 2025, read on 18 October 2026) says Day Traders does not provide or support trade copier tools; if you choose to use one, you contact the vendor directly and use these tools at your own risk. So trade copiers can be used at your own risk, but DayTraders does not provide or support them. The same article allows up to 5 Pro Accounts under a single Rithmic user ID and warns that creating multiple Rithmic user IDs with different email addresses can result in account termination. Onyx and Quantower, the two platforms with an included license, have a built-in Trade Copier (Connecting to Rithmic Services, dated 2 April 2026). The help center also has a setup article for the rTrader Pro Copier (dated 16 March 2026): the rTrader Pro Copier is a $10 per month Rithmic add-on bought from the Member Dashboard that copies trades from a Leader Account to Follower Accounts, and it cannot be used in combination with other trade copiers. No page we found covers copying another person's trades, so this guide gives no verdict on that.

What this means for you: Bots are allowed on DayTraders if they aren't high-frequency; you own every trade they place. Trade copiers are allowed at your own risk, with up to 5 Pro Accounts under one Rithmic user ID.

Our arithmetic across sizes

These are TradeDesk HQ calculations from the DayTraders figures above, not figures DayTraders publishes. Profit target ÷ total drawdown: EOD 1.5, 1.5, 2.13 and 2.31 (25K, 50K, 150K, 300K); Trail 1.0, 1.2, 1.89 and 2.14; Static 3.33, 3.75, 3.83 and 3.86 (25K, 50K, 100K, 150K), although a Static floor never moves, so its ratio is not directly comparable with a trailing one; S2L 1.5, 1.89 and 2.14 (Core, Edge, Ultra). Starting floors (account size minus drawdown): EOD $24,000, $48,000, $146,000 and $293,500; Trail $23,500, $47,500, $145,500 and $293,000; Static $24,250, $49,000, $98,500 and $148,250, fixed for good; S2F $24,000, $47,500 and $144,000; S2L $48,000, $145,500 and $293,000. Largest single day if you finish exactly on the target: EOD and Trail at 50% $750, $1,500, $4,250 and $7,500; Static at 50% $1,250, $1,875, $2,875 and $3,375; S2L at 25% $750, $2,125 and $3,750; S2F at 20% of the first payout target $400, $700 and $2,000. Consistency is measured against total profit, not the target, and DayTraders allows a small variance. Qualifying-day minimums can bind first: 8 Qualifying Days at the minimum daily profit add up to $1,600, $2,400 and $3,200 on S2L Core, Edge and Ultra, and 10 S2F Qualifying Days to $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000. Full daily-loss-limit days needed to reach the total drawdown from a fresh account: EOD 2 on every size, S2F 50K and 150K 2 (the 25K has no daily loss limit), S2L Core 2, Edge 3 and Ultra 3. On EOD 150K, EOD 300K, S2F 50K and S2L Core the second full day lands exactly on the drawdown, which we count as a fail because DayTraders says the account must remain above the threshold at all times. Cost to reach Pro (price plus the $5 activation fee): EOD $85, $110, $230 and $405; Trail $60, $75, $105 and $145; Static $45, $55, $80 and $95. First Pro payout request at the minimum balance to request: the room above the minimum balance after withdrawal is $600, $600, $100, $1,600 and $2,600 (25K, 50K, 100K, 150K, 300K). In $500 steps that is $500, $500, none, $1,500 and $2,500, so a 100K Pro account needs $103,500 before any payout is possible; the $500 steps rest on the payout FAQ (see item h). Profit over the starting balance before that first request: $1,600, $2,600, $3,500, $5,100 and $7,600. On S2L live accounts you may withdraw above $51,000, $151,000 and $301,000 once the drawdown has locked. The losing-trade ladder at the top of this page uses DayTraders' Instrument List point values, counts consecutive full-stop losing trades from a fresh account at its start-of-day balance, counts a trade that reaches the daily loss limit as closed at the limit with the rest of that day paused, and counts the trade that reaches the total drawdown as the failing trade. It assumes each Trail loser goes straight to its stop; any open profit first would raise the intraday trail and shorten the count. Its TOO TIGHT, WORKABLE and COMFORTABLE tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb: the account fails within 5 losing trades, on trade 6 to 9, or not before trade 10. Where pages give two contract limits (S2F, Trail 150K), the lower one is the cap for the ladder's verdict.

What this means for you: Use these to compare sizes: target÷drawdown, where the floor starts, the largest day consistency allows, how many full daily-limit days you can survive, and what reaching a first Pro payout takes; our arithmetic, not DayTraders figures.

Where DayTraders' own pages differ

(a) S2F figures: the pricing widget and the S2F article agree on the 50K maximum loss limit ($2,500) and daily loss limit ($1,250), but the widget lists 10 [100 Micros] where the S2F article lists 5 contracts (2 vs 1 on the 25K, 24 vs 12 on the 150K). The sizes article's S2F table instead lists a $3,750 target and $1,000 drawdown on the 50K. (b) S2F prices: the Straight to Funded (S2F) Futures article lists $370, $570 and $825 (without promo) for the 25K, 50K and 150K, while the pricing widget shows $222, $342 and $495. (c) EOD drawdown example: the drawdown guide's EOD example uses a $2,500 drawdown on a 50K; the EOD table and the widget say $2,000. (d) When the intraday trail stops in an evaluation: the drawdown guide says when the threshold reaches the profit target; the products article says it trails until the liquidation threshold equals the initial account balance. (e) Pro activation deadline: the EOD article says Pro EOD accounts must be activated within 10 days of passing; the activation article says you may risk forfeiting the Pro account if it is not set up within 30 days of your last trade on the evaluation. (f) Account sizes: the pricing widget sells Static in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K, but the Static vs Full article also lists 75k, 250k and 300k Static accounts. (g) Billing: the home page FAQ says one-time payments with no monthly subscriptions, while the billing and activity articles describe a monthly rebilling option at the same rate. (h) Payout increments: the payout FAQ says withdrawals go in increments of $500, while the funded rules article's 50K example approves an $800 payout. (i) Account limits: the pricing widget, the S2F article and the funded rules article allow up to 5 S2F accounts, while the article on breaking Pro rules says up to three active S2F accounts at any time. The Allowed Number Of Accounts article allows 15 funded accounts in total (up to 5 of them S2F; its quick-reference table also lists EOD Sim Funded Accounts at max 5 within the 15). For evaluations, that article (updated this week, read 20 October 2026) now says You can hold unlimited Evaluation Accounts and its table lists Evaluation Accounts as Unlimited; it said 15 active evaluation accounts when we read it on 16 October. The Evaluation Account Rules say You can hold unlimited Evaluation Accounts in item 7 (updated 20 October 2026), but the Evaluation and Funded Account Limits box further down the same page still says You can hold up to 15 Evaluation accounts at any given point in time. EOD evaluations stay limited to 5 EOD accounts at a time (EOD Account Rules). The Why Choose DayTraders article says Manage up to 5 funded accounts per user. (j) Trail 150K contracts: the pricing widget and the sizes article list 20 [200 Micros]; the contract overview article lists Full Size 150k at 24 Minis / 240 Micros. The overview also lists Full sizes the widget does not sell (75k, 100k, 250k), as in item (f). Our ladder uses 20 as the cap and tags 21 to 24 as PAGES DIFFER. (k) Holding through the close: the Evaluation Account Rules say you may hold trades beyond 4:59PM ET and that DayTraders will not attempt to close your position at 4:59PM ET, and the S2F article says you may hold positions through market close, overnight, or over the weekend and that DayTraders will not close your positions at market close; the Closing Trades article says All trades should be closed by 4:59 PM ET; the Terms of Use say Traders must close all positions prior to 5:00 PM ET, and elsewhere that All positions MUST be closed prior to 5:00 PM CST or prior to the market close, whichever is sooner, with positions automatically flattened about ten seconds prior to the closing bell at 5:00 PM CST. The Terms of Use also define the trading day as 6:00PM CST to 5:00 PM CST, while the funded rules and QDays articles use 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET the next day and the Pro activation article says trading days run from 6 PM to 4:59 PM ET. If you plan to hold through the close, confirm with DayTraders support first. (l) Daily loss limit wording: the EOD article calls it a hard Daily Loss Limit that pauses the account for the day and automatically closes an open trade that hits it; the S2F article calls hitting the DLL a soft breach that liquidates positions and locks the account until the following trading day; the Terms of Use call it a Hard Breach, a rule violation that places a temporary suspension from trading for the remainder of the then-current trading session, which may become permanent at the sole discretion of Day Traders. All three pause trading until the next trading day, and our ladder models that pause.

What this means for you: Where DayTraders' pages disagree, we show both; check the limits on your dashboard and ask support before you buy, above all before holding through the close (item k).

What this guide leaves out

Platform setup (Rithmic, Onyx, Quantower, the ArcTrader preview), commissions, country eligibility, the S2L live scaling review and the full terms of use. DayTraders' pages also say its services are exclusively for non-professional traders. Rules change; check daytraders.com and its help center before you buy.

What this means for you: Platforms, commissions, country rules and live scaling are out of scope; DayTraders is for non-professional traders only, and you should re-check daytraders.com before you buy.

DayTraders describes a 100% simulated profit split in your Pro account, and the payout FAQ lists S2F under the same 100% simulated profit split heading. How do payouts work on a DayTraders 50K Pro account?

A payout request needs 8 Qualifying Days in the cycle, a minimum request of $500, and a balance of $52,600 before the request and $52,000 after it, with $2,000 max per request. Pro consistency is 30%: no single day can be more than 30% of total profit in the payout cycle. (per daytraders.com, checked )

Can you reset a failed DayTraders evaluation?

No. Resetting evaluation accounts is not available: a failed account means buying a new one, and a failed Pro account cannot be reset either. DayTraders does say a discount code will be sent to your email the day after your Pro Account fails (for any Trailing Evaluation Account); otherwise the /promo page says Real prices, no coupon required. (per daytraders.com, checked )

What is the difference between DayTraders EOD, Trail and Static accounts?

EOD accounts trail once a day from the closing balance and add a daily loss limit, Trail accounts follow your highest live balance including unrealised profit with no daily loss limit, and Static accounts have a fixed drawdown that never moves. On the 50K the drawdowns are $2,000, $2,500 and $1,000. (per daytraders.com, checked )
