Which size fits your stop? The losing-trade ladder

Choose a model, a stage, an instrument, a stop in points and a contract count.

Each ladder counts consecutive full-size losing trades from a fresh account until the Maximum Loss Limit is reached, which FundedNext treats as an instant hard breach even mid-trade. Where a daily loss limit applies (Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro with the Add-On, Direct) it is a soft breach: you are paused for the rest of the day, so the count runs over several sessions (rungs are grouped by day). On Flex and Rapid Pro without the Add-On nothing pauses you, so the whole run can happen in one session.

Model
Stage (FundedNext uses the same limits on the challenge and the FundedNext Account; Direct has no challenge)
Instrument (from FundedNext's tick values: MNQ $0.50, MES $1.25, NQ $5, ES $12.50 per 0.25 pt)

Risk per losing trade: $50

How the count works: losses add up from a fresh account; the account fails on the trade that reaches the Maximum Loss Limit (a floating loss that reaches it breaches instantly, so this can happen mid-trade).

With a daily loss limit, we count the trade that crosses it as closed at the limit (our assumption: FundedNext says trading is disabled even if the trade is still open and does not say the position is closed); the next losing trade starts a new day with the full limit again, as in the help center's worked example, which the daily loss limit article's at-a-glance table words differently (item 10). A day that reaches both limits at once is a hard breach. Over the contract limit is not a breach at FundedNext: the ladder still counts the losses, but profit on the extra contracts would be deducted, so there is no upside.

Tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb, not a FundedNext rule.

TOO TIGHT: the account fails within 5 losing trades. WORKABLE: it fails on trade 6 to 9. COMFORTABLE: not before trade 10. OVER CONTRACT LIMIT: more contracts than that size allows (minis, or 10 micros per mini); such sizes are left out of the verdict.

Educational, not advice. The ladder ignores commissions and slippage, although FundedNext counts commissions and exchange fees in the daily loss limit, so real counts are usually lower. The daily loss limit is a risk rule, not a stop loss: place your own hard stops. Close all positions by 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET). Confirm every figure on helpfutures.fundednext.com before buying.

The short answer

FundedNext Futures' homepage shows three models: Flex (50K, 100K, 150K), Rapid with two paths, Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily (25K, 50K, 100K), and the $50K Direct Account with no challenge. Size sets the profit target, Maximum Loss Limit, daily loss limit, contracts and withdrawal caps; the model sets whether a daily loss limit applies, when consistency applies, how often you get paid and the Reward Share (95% Flex, 90% Rapid and Direct). On Flex and Rapid Pro without the Add-On the Maximum Loss Limit is your only loss limit, and a floating loss that touches it ends the account intraday; on Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro with the Add-On and Direct the daily loss limit pauses you first, 2 full-limit days before a breach at every size from a fresh account (ours, see item 10). Prices are one-time; list prices are shown first, then FundedNext's own codes with their conditions.

Key facts:

  • 25K (Rapid only): $1,500 target, $1,000 Maximum Loss Limit, 2 minis / 20 micros; Rapid Daily $500 daily loss limit; list $159.98, code RAPID $79.99 first purchase for new Futures users.
  • 50K: Flex $2,500 target / $1,500 limit / 3 minis, no daily loss limit; Rapid $3,000 / $2,000 / 4 minis; Direct no profit goal, $2,000 limit, $1,000 daily loss limit, 3 minis.
  • 100K: Flex $5,000 / $2,500 / 5 minis; Rapid $5,000 / $2,500 / 6 minis, Rapid Daily $1,250 daily loss limit; withdrawals up to $2,500 on both.
  • 150K (Flex only): $8,000 target, $4,000 Maximum Loss Limit, 8 minis / 80 micros, withdrawals up to $4,000; list $490.99, $259.99 with FNFLEX for the first 2 purchases.
  • Contract limits are the same on the challenge and the FundedNext Account and never grow with profit (Legacy is the exception: 3, 5 and 7 minis once funded).

Watch out:

  • End of Day only describes when the floor moves: a floating loss that reaches the Maximum Loss Limit during a trade is an instant hard breach.
  • Flex and Rapid: your first withdrawal moves the floor up to the lock point ($50,100 on a 50K); withdraw $500 of a $1,000 Flex cycle and only $400 of room is left (ours).
  • Rapid 50K prices differ across FundedNext's own pages ($149.99, $159.99, $169.99; item 1), and code RAPID's first-purchase prices are for new Futures users only.
  • The Daily Loss Limit Add-On on Rapid Pro is chosen at purchase and cannot be added or removed later; resets must include it.
  • The Direct Account cannot be reset, needs at least one trade per week, and its 20% rule counts your best day ever.
  • Be flat by 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET); no overnight or weekend holding.

Pick 25K if you want the cheapest Rapid entry ($79.99 first purchase with RAPID for new Futures users) and 2 minis / 20 micros is enough.

Pick 50K if you want the widest choice: Flex at the lowest target, Rapid with a one-day pass, or Direct with no challenge at all.

Pick 100K if you want 5 (Flex) or 6 (Rapid) minis and up to $2,500 per withdrawal; the target is 2.0× the limit on both (ours).

Pick 150K if you want 8 minis and the largest Flex cap of $4,000; Flex only.

Pick Flex if you want the lowest targets, no daily loss limit, no funded consistency rule and a 95% Reward Share, and can pass a 40% consistency check.

Pick Rapid Pro if you want to pass in a single day and get paid every 3 days; add the daily loss limit at purchase only if you want the pause and the lower price.

Pick Rapid Daily if you want a daily loss limit that pauses rather than fails you, no consistency rule at any stage and daily withdrawals above the buffer.

Pick Direct if you want to skip the challenge and accept a $1,000 daily loss limit, a $2,100 buffer, the 20% Perpetual Consistency Rule and no resets.

Full summary

FundedNext Futures sells one-step challenges in four sizes, and the Flex 50K is the card marked Popular on fundednext.com/futures. On the 50K Flex Challenge the profit target is $2,500, the Max Loss Limit is $1,500, trailing End of Day, and there is no daily loss limit. The Consistency Rule is 40% on the challenge; none on the funded account. Plain-language terms

Performance RewardFundedNext's word for a payout.
Reward ShareYour profit split: 95% on Flex, 90% on Rapid and Direct, 80% on Legacy.
FundedNext AccountThe funded (simulated) account you trade after passing a challenge, or from day one on Direct.
Maximum Loss Limit (MLL)The total you can lose before the account is hard-breached; on every model it trails your highest end-of-day balance.
Trailing End of Day (EOD)The floor moves up once a day at 05:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET) and never down; the breach itself is checked live, including floating losses.
Lock pointWhere the floor stops trailing: starting balance + $100 on Flex, Rapid and Direct ($50,100 on a 50K).
Daily loss limit (DLL)Most you may lose in one trading day, closed plus floating plus fees; Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro with the Add-On and Direct only.
Soft breach vs hard breachSoft: trading paused for the rest of the day, account kept. Hard: the account ends; a Challenge Account can be reset, a FundedNext Account cannot.
Daily Loss Limit Add-OnOptional at Rapid Pro purchase: lower price in exchange for a daily loss limit from the challenge through the funded account; permanent.
Consistency RuleLargest day as a share of profit: 40% on the Flex and Legacy challenges and before each Rapid Pro funded payout.
Perpetual Consistency RuleDirect only: your best day ever must be 20% or less of the current cycle's profit, so each cycle needs at least 5 times that day.
Benchmark DayA Flex or Legacy funded day whose profit reaches the benchmark for your size; 5 are needed before each withdrawal.
Buffer levelRapid Daily and Direct: profit that must stay in the account; only profit above it can be withdrawn.
Violated contractsContracts above your limit: not a breach, but their profit is deducted and their losses count.
ResetA paid fresh start for a Challenge Account, possible any time, even without a breach; not available on Direct or funded accounts.
ConcludedStatus of a FundedNext Account after its 5th Performance Reward (Flex, Rapid, Direct).

Tags: SAME = identical in every column of that table. By size = the figure changes with the account size. By model = the models differ. Pages differ = official FundedNext pages give different figures; see the numbered item. Ours = TradeDesk HQ arithmetic from FundedNext's figures, not a FundedNext figure. Challenge plans = Flex (50K to 150K), Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily (25K to 100K), one-time challenges; Legacy is documented in the help center only; Direct = the $50K Direct Account, a FundedNext Account from day one with no challenge phase.

Where these figures come from

Every dollar amount and label in this guide is copied from FundedNext Futures' official help center at helpfutures.fundednext.com (all 144 English articles, fetched directly on 15 October 2026 and fetched again on 16 October 2026, when no rule figure had changed) and from the plan cards on fundednext.com/futures, which has tabs for Flex, Rapid (Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily) and Direct; the card figures were also unchanged on 16 October 2026. FundedNext calls a payout a Performance Reward, the profit split a Reward Share and the funded account a FundedNext Account; we use those terms. FundedNext also runs a separate CFD (forex) business with its own codes; this guide covers futures only. Prices are one-time fees, not monthly subscriptions. Where two official pages disagree we say so below.

What this means for you: Every FundedNext figure here comes from helpfutures.fundednext.com or the fundednext.com/futures plan cards, re-checked on 16 October 2026; anything we worked out ourselves is tagged Ours.

Which plan is which

The futures homepage shows three models. Flex (50K, 100K and 150K) has the lowest profit targets, a 40% consistency rule during the challenge only, no daily loss limit and a 95% Reward Share. Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily are two paths of one challenge (25K, 50K and 100K), chosen at purchase and not switchable; both can pass in a single day and pay a 90% Reward Share. Rapid Pro has no daily loss limit by default, an optional Daily Loss Limit Add-On that lowers the price, a 40% consistency rule on the funded account and rewards every 3 days; Rapid Daily has a daily loss limit, no consistency rule at any stage, a buffer rule and daily rewards. The Direct Account is a $50K FundedNext Account from day one, with no challenge phase and no profit goal. The Legacy Challenge (25K, 50K and 100K) is fully documented in the help center but had no tab on the homepage on 15 or 16 October 2026. Accounts on the former Rapid and Bolt models, bought before they were discontinued, can continue trading but cannot be reset; the reward share article gives those former models an 80% Reward Share. There is no time limit to pass any challenge.

What this means for you: Flex = cheapest one-time challenge with a 95% Reward Share; Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily = one-day pass with two payout paths; Direct = a $50K FundedNext Account with no challenge.

Key rules on the 50K Flex plan

On the 50K Flex Challenge the profit target is $2,500, the Max Loss Limit is $1,500, trailing End of Day, and the daily loss limit is None. The Consistency Rule is 40% on the challenge; none on the funded account. Max contracts are 3 Minis or 30 Micros on the challenge and the funded account (the help center writes 3 e-mini / 30 micro e-mini). The homepage card shows $141.99 struck through and $74.99 with code FNFLEX, so the plan is $141.99 one-time before the code; the code gives 47% off the first 2 Flex Challenges and 40% off from the third purchase ($84.99). The reset is $82.99 and there is no activation fee. Once funded: 5 Benchmark Days of $200 and $500 profit in the cycle; $250 minimum, up to 50% of profit capped at $1,500. The Reward Share is 95%, the Max Loss Limit stays at $1,500 and your first withdrawal resets it to the lock point of $50,100. The Flex FundedNext Account is concluded after 5 Performance Rewards. The homepage card sums up the funded side as Get Rewards In 5 Days. How fast you can pass: FundedNext's futures homepage (fundednext.com/futures, read 18 October 2026) says that for Bolt, Legacy and Flex traders, reaching a FundedNext Account can take as little as 3 days, with a simple 40% Challenge consistency guideline.

What this means for you: A 50K Flex has no daily loss limit, so the $1,500 Maximum Loss Limit is your only loss limit; size your stop so one bad session cannot use it all.

How the Maximum Loss Limit trails and locks

On every model the Maximum Loss Limit is a trailing End of Day limit: the level is set at the end of the trading day (05:00 PM CT, 6:00 PM ET) from your highest balance, never moves down, and is not updated in real time. The breach itself is checked intraday: if a floating loss reaches the level during a live trade, the account is breached instantly. Breaching it is a hard breach: the account cannot continue, all accumulated profit is forfeited, a breached Challenge Account can be reset and a breached FundedNext Account cannot. On Flex, Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily and the Direct Account the level stops trailing at the initial balance + $100: $50,100 on a 50K (Rapid 25K $25,100, 100K $100,100; Flex 150K $150,100). On Legacy it locks at the initial balance itself. Your first withdrawal on Flex, Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily and Direct sets the level at the lock point ($50,100 on a 50K; the withdrawal article lists $25,100, $50,100 and $100,100 for Rapid Pro and Daily and $50,100, $100,100 and $150,100 for Flex), and on Legacy it resets the level to the initial balance. The help center's Legacy example: a $100K account with a $3,000 limit that closes a day at $103,000 has its level locked at $100,000.

What this means for you: The level only moves at the close, but a floating loss that touches it ends the account at once; treat the floor as intraday.

Daily loss limit

Rapid Daily has a daily loss limit of $500, $1,000 and $1,250 (25K, 50K, 100K), on the challenge and the funded account. Rapid Pro has none unless you choose the Daily Loss Limit Add-On at purchase, which applies the same $500, $1,000 and $1,250 limits from the challenge through the funded account and lowers the price by $20, $40 or $50; it cannot be added or removed later. The Direct Account has a $1,000 daily loss limit. Flex and Legacy have no daily loss limit. Closed and floating losses, commissions and exchange fees all count. Hitting it is a soft breach: trading is disabled for the rest of the day and resumes the next trading day; the help center's example says the permitted loss resets to $1,000 the next day on a 50K, and the homepage cards say exceeding it does not breach the account but pauses your trading until the next day (the Direct tab: No Hard Breach on DLL). Floating losses count: if an open trade moves into a loss and hits the limit, trading is disabled even if the trade is still open. The limit trails with profit; the help center's example is a $50,000 account that ends a day at $51,500, whose next-day floor becomes $50,500.

What this means for you: Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro with the Add-On and Direct pause you for the day at the limit; the account survives, but the limit is not a stop loss, so use your own stops.

Consistency rules by model

Legacy and Flex: 40% during the challenge, none once funded. On the challenge this is a threshold, not a breach: your profit on any single day should not exceed 40% of the profit target ($1,000 on a 50K Flex), and if it does, the target is recalculated as your highest day divided by 40%, so a $1,500 day makes the required total $3,750. Rapid Pro: none on the challenge, 40% on the funded account, where it is a withdrawal gate: your best day must be 40% or less of total profit before you can withdraw, which takes at least 3 days. Rapid Daily: no consistency rule at any stage. Direct Account: a 20% Perpetual Consistency Rule, meaning your highest single-day profit ever recorded on the account must be 20% or less of the current cycle's profit, so each cycle needs at least 5 times your best day; a bigger day raises the bar for all later cycles.

What this means for you: Flex and Legacy: keep your best challenge day under 40% of the target; Rapid Pro: 40% before each funded payout; Direct: your best day ever must stay at 20% or less of each cycle.

Withdrawals, Benchmark Days and Reward Share

Flex funded: 5 Benchmark Days of $200 and $500 profit in the cycle; $250 minimum, up to 50% of profit capped at $1,500 (100K: 5 days of $200, cap $2,500; 150K: 5 days of $250, cap $4,000); 95% Reward Share; concluded after 5 Performance Rewards. Rapid Pro funded: the 40% consistency rule and $500 profit in the cycle, then $250 minimum and $800, $1,200 or $2,500 maximum, every 3 days, 90% Reward Share, concluded after the 5th Performance Reward. Rapid Daily funded: no minimum trading days; withdraw any day your end-of-day balance is at or above the buffer level of $26,100, $52,100 or $102,600 and you have $500 profit in the cycle; $250 minimum, $800, $1,200 or $2,500 maximum, 90% Reward Share, concluded after the 5th Performance Reward. Direct Account: clear the $2,100 buffer and the 20% rule, then withdraw $800 to $1,200 per cycle (only profit above the buffer, at least $800 over it; the homepage card says Get Rewards In 5 Days) at a 90% Reward Share; the account is concluded after the 5th Performance Reward. Legacy funded: 5 Benchmark Days ($100 on 25K, $200 on 50K and 100K) and $500 profit, up to 50% of profit capped at $3,000, $6,000 or $6,000, 80% Reward Share; after 30 Benchmark Days the 50% limit and cap are removed, the account is not concluded after 5 rewards, and withdrawing all of your simulated profit in a single request causes a hard breach. You request a reward at the end of the trading day by transferring profit to your wallet; trading that day removes the option until the next eligible day. FundedNext's Brand Promise is a Performance Reward processed within 24 hours or $1,000 extra (the road-to-live article says it is not maintained for live account withdrawals).

What this means for you: Flex pays after 5 Benchmark Days at 95%; Rapid Pro every 3 days and Rapid Daily daily above the buffer at 90%; Direct above a $2,100 buffer at 90%; most accounts conclude after 5 rewards.

Contract limits

Limits are fixed at account creation and do not grow with profit; you can mix minis and micros at 1:10. Flex: 3, 5 and 8 minis (30, 50 and 80 micros) on the challenge and the funded account. Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily: 2, 4 and 6 minis (20, 40 and 60 micros) on both. Direct: 3 minis or 30 micros. Legacy: 2, 3 and 5 minis on the challenge, 3, 5 and 7 minis once funded. Limits are strictly enforced: contracts above the limit are treated as violated contracts, profit from them is deducted and their losses still count. The breach article adds that exceeding your contract limit does not breach your account. FundedNext's contract-types article lists tick values per 0.25-point tick of $0.50 on MNQ, $1.25 on MES, $5.00 on NQ and $12.50 on ES, and its PnL article uses the same $12.50 ES tick.

What this means for you: Your contract limit never grows on FundedNext; going over is not a breach, but profit on the extra contracts is deducted while losses count.

Trading hours, news, inactivity and other rules

Trading hours: close all positions by 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET) each trading day; anything still open then is closed automatically, and there is no overnight or weekend holding. Trading reopens at 5:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET), and on Sunday at 5:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET) after the weekend. News trading: allowed, no restrictions, on the challenge and the funded account. Inactivity: an account with no trade for 30 consecutive calendar days is breached (Direct Account: 7). Micro-scalping, meaning trades closed within 10 seconds: at 30% of profit you get a warning; at 40% or more the challenge cannot pass until the share drops back below 40%, and on a funded account that profit is deducted, without terminating the account. Prohibited strategies include account flipping, group trading, signal services, copying another person's trades, spoofing, layering, exploiting tight brackets, grid trading and wash trading. Copying your own trades between your own accounts, including at other prop firms under the exact same name, is allowed. Platforms are Tradovate and NinjaTrader, with TradingView via integration listed in the help center. FundedNext Futures restricts purchases from a list of countries in its help center.

What this means for you: Be flat by 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET), trade at least once every 30 days (Direct: weekly) and keep most profit out of sub-10-second trades.

Bots and copy trading

FundedNext Futures' Most Frequently Asked Questions article (updated 30 September 2026, read on 18 October 2026) says Expert Advisors (EAs) and trading bots are allowed during both the Challenge and on FundedNext Accounts; strategies that exploit system vulnerabilities, such as latency abuse or order flooding, are strictly prohibited. FundedNext gives no support for setting up these systems and is not responsible for technical errors, execution delays or malfunctions. Its high-frequency trading article (updated 30 September 2026, read on 18 October 2026) says high-frequency trading is not allowed: automated systems are monitored, and one that trades at HFT frequency and speed puts the account under review and can lead to termination. Its copy and group trading policy (updated 30 September 2026, read on 18 October 2026) allows copying trades between your own FundedNext Accounts, and between FundedNext and other prop firms if you own every account involved; FundedNext may ask you to verify they are all registered under the exact same name. Signal services, group trading and copying trades from another person's account are prohibited, even through automated tools or trade copiers.

What this means for you: Bots and EAs are fine on FundedNext Futures if they aren't HFT or exploits; copy only your own trades, even across firms, under the same name.

Pricing, resets, codes and account limits

All models are a one-time fee, with no monthly subscription and no activation fee. Flex is $141.99 one-time on a 50K before code FNFLEX ($273.99 and $490.99 for 100K and 150K); with the code the first 2 purchases are $74.99, $144.99 and $259.99 and the third purchase onward $84.99, $159.99 and $289.99. Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily list at $159.98, $299.98 and $499.98 before codes; the RAPID offer article gives first-purchase prices for new Futures users of $79.99, $159.99 and $279.99 on Rapid Pro, and $79.99, $169.99 and $279.99 on Rapid Daily; existing Futures users pay recurring prices of $84.99, $174.99 and $299.99 on Rapid Pro and $89.99, $189.99 and $299.99 on Rapid Daily. The homepage Rapid cards show the first-purchase prices ($159.99 and 46% OFF on Rapid Pro 50K, $169.99 and 43% OFF on Rapid Daily 50K), but other help pages show different 50K prices (see below). The Direct Account lists at $283.99 and is $169.99 with code FNDIRECT (40% OFF on the homepage card). Legacy is $79.99, $199.99 and $239.99. Challenges can be reset at any time, even without a breach, and resets are unlimited up to the maximum allocation; the Direct Account and funded accounts cannot be reset. Reset prices: Flex $82.99, $157.99 and $284.99; Rapid Pro $84.99, $174.99 and $299.99; Rapid Daily $89.99, $189.99 and $299.99; Legacy $73.99, $183.99 and $220.79. Account limits: challenge accounts up to $750,000 combined allocation, with no limit on purchases per month; up to 5 active FundedNext Accounts at a time, per user and per household (a shared address or IP address), and up to 10 issued per calendar month; a passed account beyond that waits as pending until a slot opens. The Direct Account counts toward both FundedNext Account limits.

What this means for you: Compare the price you will actually pay: list price, FundedNext's own code price and its condition (first purchase, first 2 or new users), and the reset fee.

Road to live

On Flex, Rapid and Direct the road-to-live article says it takes 15 Performance Rewards to enter the live review pool, counted across your profile (the Flex overview article says 5 cycles from one account, see item 7 below); returning live traders re-enter after every 5. Selection is at FundedNext's discretion. If selected, challenge accounts are closed without refund, funded accounts with at least one withdrawal move to live (up to 5 live accounts), and funded accounts with no payout are closed and refunded. Live accounts start with a balance of $1,500, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500 (25K to 150K) and a trailing Max Loss Limit that starts from $0 and locks when you request a payout or your profit equals the starting balance, with the floor set $1,000 below the starting balance ($1,000 on a 50K). Live withdrawals can be daily, from $100, with a 100% profit split on the first $5,000 of cumulative withdrawals and 90/10 after that; contract limits double once the Max Loss Limit locks. A live breach brings a mandatory 2-week cooldown.

What this means for you: Live is by selection after 15 Performance Rewards; live accounts start small with a $1,000 floor below the starting balance.

Our arithmetic across sizes

These are TradeDesk HQ calculations from the FundedNext figures above, not figures FundedNext publishes. Profit target ÷ Maximum Loss Limit: Flex 1.67, 2.0 and 2.0 (50K, 100K, 150K); Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily 1.5, 1.5 and 2.0 (25K, 50K, 100K); Legacy 1.25, 1.5 and 2.0. Flex 40% day threshold: $1,000, $2,000 and $3,200. Starting floors (balance minus the limit): Flex $48,500, $97,500 and $146,000; Rapid $24,000, $48,000 and $97,500; Direct $48,000. The floor stops trailing once an end-of-day balance reaches the starting balance + the limit + $100, so it takes about $1,600, $2,600 and $4,100 of profit on Flex, $1,100, $2,100 and $2,600 on Rapid and $2,100 on Direct; on Rapid Daily and Direct that is exactly the buffer. On Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro with the Add-On and the Direct Account the daily loss limit is exactly half the Maximum Loss Limit at every size, so from a fresh account (or a new high) it takes 2 full daily-loss-limit days to breach; after a losing day, one more full-limit day can be enough (using the help center's worked example of a full limit each new day; see item 10). Flex and Rapid Pro without the Add-On have no daily limit, so the whole Maximum Loss Limit can go in one session. First withdrawal: on a 50K Flex, if a cycle ends at $1,000 of profit and you withdraw the 50% maximum of $500, the balance is $50,500 and the floor moves up to $50,100, leaving $400 of room; on a 50K Rapid Pro, withdrawing the $1,200 maximum from a $1,500 cycle leaves $50,300 against a $50,100 floor, $200 of room. On Rapid Daily and Direct, withdrawals only come from above the buffer, so after one you keep at least the full limit as room: $1,000, $2,000 and $2,500 on Rapid Daily, $2,000 on Direct. Profit before a payout: Flex needs 5 Benchmark Days worth at least $1,000, $1,000 and $1,250 together, and reaching the withdrawal cap needs $3,000, $5,000 and $8,000 of profit (cap ÷ 50%). Rapid Daily needs about $1,350, $2,350 and $2,850 of profit for the $250 minimum and $1,900, $3,300 and $5,100 for the full cap. Direct needs about $2,900 for the $800 minimum and $3,300 for the $1,200 maximum under the Direct article's wording (item 11), and each cycle at least 5 times your best day. Contract room in micros at 10 per mini: Flex 30, 50 and 80; Rapid 20, 40 and 60; Direct 30. The $750,000 challenge allocation equals 5 Flex 150K accounts. The losing-trade ladder at the top of this page uses point values of $2 per point on MNQ, $5 on MES, $20 on NQ and $50 on ES (FundedNext's tick values per 0.25-point tick times 4), and its TOO TIGHT, WORKABLE and COMFORTABLE tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb: the account fails within 5 losing trades, on trade 6 to 9, or not before trade 10.

What this means for you: Use these to compare sizes: room before the floor locks, days a daily limit buys you and profit needed before a payout; our arithmetic, not FundedNext figures.

Where FundedNext's own pages differ

1. Rapid 50K price: the prices article lists $169.99 for Rapid Pro and Daily 50K ($279.99 on 100K); the Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily and Rapid overview articles say a flat 50% off, $149.99 ($249.99 on 100K); the RAPID offer article and the reset article's examples give $159.99 for Rapid Pro and $169.99 for Rapid Daily. The $299.98 list price is the same on all of them (the add-on article writes $299.99). 2. Rapid Pro 50K with the Daily Loss Limit Add-On: $129.99 in the prices article, $109.99 in the Rapid Pro and add-on articles, $119.99 first purchase in the RAPID offer article; its 50K reset is $117.99 in the Rapid Pro article and the reset article's example but $134.99 in the reset table and the add-on article. The same split holds on the other sizes: the Rapid Pro article lists add-on resets of $67.99 and $207.99 (25K, 100K), the add-on article and the reset table $64.99 and $249.99; the 100K add-on price is $229.99 in the prices article and the RAPID offer article but $199.99 in the Rapid Pro article and the reset table; and the RAPID offer article's add-on base on 100K is $499.98 for first purchases but $449.98 for recurring purchases. 3. Rapid resets: the reset article and the Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily articles give $174.99 and $189.99 on a 50K; the Rapid overview article lists $87.99, $157.99 and $257.99 for both paths. 4. Legacy reset example: the reset article's example says a 50K Legacy that cost $149.99 resets for $137.99, while its own table and the Legacy article say $199.99 and $183.99. 5. Resetting after a daily loss limit breach: the reset article's summary says trading resumes at the next session open at 5 PM CT (6 PM ET), while its body says you can resume immediately once the reset is confirmed. 6. Direct Account inactivity: the Direct article says place at least one trade per week (Monday through Friday); the inactivity article says 7 consecutive calendar days. 7. Road to live: the road-to-live article says 15 Performance Rewards across your profile; the Direct article says concluding 15 Performance Reward journeys from the Direct Account; the Flex overview article says completion of 5 Performance Reward Cycles from a single account; the withdrawal article says you can move toward live trading as early as 15 withdrawals from Flex Account. 8. Number of models: the challenge types article says four challenge plans but describes three (Flex, Rapid Pro and Daily, Direct); Legacy has its own articles but no homepage tab. 9. Homepage FAQ answers: the FAQ text in fundednext.com/futures' page data says Rapid offers up to $800 on 25K, $1,500 on 50K and $2,500 on 100K, while the Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily articles and the homepage Rapid cards say $1,200 on 50K; the same FAQ says Flex 50K starts at $69.99 (card: $74.99), Rapid 25K at $99.99 (card: $79.99), mentions up to a 90% Reward split (Flex: 95%) and still describes the discontinued Bolt. We use the help articles and the cards. 10. Daily loss limit wording: the daily loss limit article's at-a-glance table says the limit trails from the highest EOD balance, while the same article's example resets the permitted loss to $1,000 the next day after a soft breach and sets the next day's level from the previous day's closing balance; the at-a-glance table lists only Rapid Daily and Rapid Pro (with Add-On), although the table above it includes the Direct Account's $1,000; and its summary gives the + $100 lock only for Flex and Rapid Pro & Daily, while the body includes the Direct Account. Our losing-trade ladder follows the worked example (a full limit each new day). 11. Direct withdrawal threshold: the Direct article says the withdrawable amount is profit above the $2,100 buffer, at least $800 over it; the withdrawal article lists the conditions as the 20% rule, an EOD balance at the $52,100 buffer level and $800 profit in the cycle, up to $1,200.

FAQ

What are the FundedNext Futures 50K Flex rules?

The 50K Flex Challenge has a $2,500 profit target, a $1,500 Max Loss Limit (trailing End of Day), no daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule on the challenge only and a limit of 3 Minis or 30 Micros. It costs $141.99 one-time, or $74.99 for the first 2 purchases with code FNFLEX; the reset is $82.99 and funded accounts get a 95% Reward Share. (per helpfutures.fundednext.com, checked )

How does the FundedNext Futures Maximum Loss Limit work?

It trails your highest end-of-day balance, updating at 05:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET), and never moves down, but a floating loss that reaches it during a trade breaches the account instantly. On Flex, Rapid and Direct it locks at the initial balance + $100, $50,100 on a 50K; on Legacy it locks at the initial balance. (per helpfutures.fundednext.com, checked )

Which FundedNext Futures accounts have a consistency rule?
