Same stop, two plans: the losing-trade ladder
Each ladder counts full-stop losing trades until the account fails. From a fresh account both plans fail on the same trade (no daily loss limit, same $2,000 max loss). The difference shows when open profit raises Rapid's floor first.
Risk per losing trade: $300
How the count works (ours): both plans have a $2,000 max loss and no daily loss limit.

Sim funded starts at $0, so the floor starts at −$2,000. Floor = high − $2,000 and never moves down; it locks at $100 (reached at a high of $2,100). Evaluation: we run from a fresh account only (MFF does not publish how the evaluation limit trails). Open profit first: Rapid's equity high rises by that open profit, so the floor moves up and stays there when the trade reverses; Rapid EOD's floor does not move intraday. Profit banked at the close (we assume the day's high was the close): both floors move. We count a loss that reaches the floor as a breach (MFF says "below"). Ignores commissions and slippage.
Tags are a TradeDesk HQ rule of thumb, not an MFF rule. TOO TIGHT: fails within 5 losing trades. WORKABLE: fails on trade 6 to 9. COMFORTABLE: not before trade 10. OVER CONTRACT LIMIT: more than 5 minis / 50 micros (Rapid) or 3 / 30 (Rapid EOD).

The short answer
Same on both: a $3,000 profit target, a $2,000 max loss listed as end-of-day in the evaluation, no daily loss limit at any stage, a $0 sim funded start with a $2,000 trailing max loss that locks at $100, no consistency rule once funded, T1 news in the evaluation but not sim funded, a $2,100 realized-profit buffer, daily payouts with a $500 minimum at 90/10, a $0 activation fee and the same Live 50K rules.
Different:
- Sim funded trailing: Rapid's max loss follows your equity high during the day, including open profit. Rapid EOD's moves only when a session closes at a new high.
- Contracts: 5 mini / 50 micro vs 3 mini / 30 micro (Live 50K is 3 / 30 on both).
- Evaluation consistency 50% vs 30% (best day at target $1,500 vs $900, ours).
- Minimum trading days 2 vs 4.
- Only the Rapid EOD article states a 7-day inactivity rule, a 3-account sim funded cap and a $500-since-last unlock for later payouts.
Pick Rapid if you want up to 5 minis and a faster pass (2 days, 50% consistency), and you take profits or trail stops rather than letting open profit swing back, because once funded an intraday high raises your floor for good.
Pick Rapid EOD if you are fine with 3 minis, a 30% consistency rule and 4 minimum days, and you hold trades through open-profit swings, because the funded floor only moves at the session close.

How the consistency rule works
MyFundedFutures (MFFU) applies its consistency rule in the evaluation only: no single day's profit should exceed 50% (Rapid) or 30% (Rapid EOD) of your total evaluation profits. MFF's own example: with a $3,000 target, the 50% rule caps one day at $1,500. That example uses the profit target as the base, while the rule text refers to total evaluation profits; the consistency article's own "Important note" also says "total profit target", so the article mixes both bases internally. Going over does not fail the account; you just trade more days until the ratio is met. Neither Rapid plan has a consistency rule for payouts. Best day at target (ours): 50% of $3,000 = $1,500 (MFF's example), 30% = $900.
What this means for you: A big day never fails you; it just means more days until the ratio is met.
Intraday vs end-of-day trailing once funded
On Rapid, the sim funded max loss is $2,000 from your equity high-water mark (HWM) and trails during the day, including unrealized profit, so a winning trade that reverses can still pull you toward the limit. On Rapid EOD it trails upward each time your account closes at a new end-of-day high and does not move intraday. On both plans the limit never moves down. Sim funded starts at $0, so both floors start at −$2,000 (ours). Floor = high − $2,000, which reaches the $100 lock at a high of $2,100 (ours). Once the trailing max loss reaches $100 it locks there and you must always keep at least $100.
What this means for you: On Rapid, open profit you give back costs funded room for good. On Rapid EOD, only a closing high moves the floor.
Payouts
You need $2,100 in realized profit before the first request (Rapid: "before requesting any payout"; Rapid EOD: "before … your first payout"), the minimum request is $500 and the split is 90% to you (the 90% split applies as of 12 January 2026, per MFF's payout policy). The first payout becomes available 24 hours after your first funded trade (payout overview; both plans). Rapid EOD then unlocks each later payout at $500 net profit since the last, with no cap per payout cycle; the Rapid 50K article is silent on that unlock and on a per-request cap. Larger Rapid accounts need a bigger buffer: $3,100 on 100K and $4,600 on 150K. MyFundedFutures says most payout requests are approved instantly, and manual reviews can take up to 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays.
What this means for you: Same $2,100 buffer and $500 minimum. Rapid EOD spells out a $500-since-last unlock.
Going live
A Rapid account moves to Live automatically after $10,000 net profit in a single trading day; profit above $10,000 that day is forfeited. The risk team can also move consistent payout earners. Up to $5,000 of sim funded profit goes into a Reserve, and the Live 50K account has a $2,000 end-of-day max loss that stops at $0, 3 minis / 30 micros (so a Rapid 50K trader drops from 5 minis to 3 on Live) and daily 90/10 payouts. Rapid EOD 50K follows the same Live rules. Live starts at $0 and can go negative until the limit trails up to $0, there is no buffer on Live, reaching the limit closes the account immediately, and you cannot trade sim and Live at the same time. If several Rapid accounts move to Live together, MFF combines them into one Live account and sets contracts with the Live team.
What this means for you: Plan on 3 minis on Live whichever plan you pick.
Contracts, minimum days and account limits
Rapid allows 5 mini / 50 micro in evaluation and sim funded; Rapid EOD allows 3 mini / 30 micro. MFF's "its equivalent in micros" implies 10 micros = 1 mini. Live 50K is 3 mini / 30 micro on both. Minimum trading days: 2 on Rapid, 4 on Rapid EOD. Rapid EOD states a 7-day inactivity rule in both the evaluation and sim funded tables and a max of 3 funded accounts. The Rapid 50K plan article does not state inactivity or a max funded count. MFF's Moving from Evaluation to Sim-Funded article caps $25K/$50K sim funded accounts at 5 total and Rapid EOD 50K at 3, but gives no Rapid-specific cap.
What this means for you: Rapid trades bigger and passes in fewer days. Rapid EOD has a stated 7-day inactivity rule.
Where MyFundedFutures' pages differ
(a) Inactivity / max funded accounts: Rapid EOD lists a 7-day inactivity rule in both evaluation and sim funded tables and Max # of Funded Accounts Three (3). The Rapid 50K plan article is silent on both. Moving from Evaluation to Sim-Funded (16498635) caps $25K/$50K sim funded accounts at 5 total and Rapid EOD 50K at 3, but gives no Rapid-specific cap. (b) Later payout unlock: Rapid EOD unlocks each later payout at $500 net profit since the last and says no cap per payout cycle; Rapid 50K is silent on both. Rapid's buffer wording is "before requesting any payout"; Rapid EOD's is "before … your first payout". The 24h first-payout timing appears in the payout overview for both, not in the Rapid EOD plan article. (c) Eval vs sim drawdown type: both evaluation tables list Maximum Loss Limit (EOD) $2,000; sim funded Rapid is Intra-day trailing (includes open P&L), Rapid EOD is End-of-Day trailing only at session close. (d) Intraday drawdown article vs Rapid sim $0 start: 12802721 examples use a $50,000 starting balance ($48,000 floor) and say the drawdown "will not exceed the starting balance"; both plan articles start sim funded at $0 and lock at $100 — follow the plan articles. (e) Live contract drop: Rapid 50K sim allows 5 mini / 50 micro; Live 50K (13134718) is 3 mini / 30 micro — same as Rapid EOD sim. (f) 90% effective date: payout overview "as of January 12th, 2026"; Rapid / Rapid EOD plan payout blocks state 90/10 without that date. (g) Rapid EOD typo: "No T1 news trading is not allowed" (double negative); the table says T1 News Trading | No on sim funded — use the table. (h) Consistency base: the rule text refers to total evaluation profits while MFF's $3,000-target example caps one day at $1,500, and the consistency article's Important note also says "total profit target", so the article mixes both bases.
What this means for you: When MFF's pages disagree, follow the plan article and ask support.
Our arithmetic (not MyFundedFutures figures)
The losing-trade ladder uses CME contract specs, not MFF figures: MNQ $2, MES $5, NQ $20, ES $50 per point. Caps are 5 minis or 50 micros on Rapid and 3 or 30 on Rapid EOD, with 10 micros counting as 1 mini. Sim funded starts at $0, so both floors start at −$2,000. Floor = high − $2,000, which reaches the $100 lock at a high of $2,100. Example: a 30-point MNQ stop on 5 micros is $300 per losing trade. From a fresh account both plans fail on trade 7 (−$2,100). If trade 1 first shows +$1,000 of open profit, Rapid's floor moves to −$1,000 and stays there, so Rapid fails on trade 4 (−$1,200) while Rapid EOD still fails on trade 7. If the $1,000 is banked at the close instead, both floors sit at −$1,000 and both fail on trade 7 (balance −$1,100). This assumes the day's high was the close; if Rapid's open profit went higher during that day, its floor sits higher. After +$1,000 of open profit is given back to $0, Rapid has $1,000 of room left and Rapid EOD still has $2,000. With +$1,500 open profit, Rapid fails on trade 2. Open-profit choices are $500, $1,000 and $1,500. We count a loss that reaches the floor as a breach (MFF says "below"), and we ignore commissions and slippage. Best day at target: 50% of $3,000 = $1,500 (MFF's example), 30% = $900. Tags are our rule of thumb: TOO TIGHT within 5 losing trades, WORKABLE 6 to 9, COMFORTABLE 10 or more.
What this means for you: From a fresh account a losing streak fails at the same trade on both plans. The difference only shows once open profit comes and goes.
FAQ
What are the MyFundedFutures Rapid 50K rules?
MyFundedFutures Rapid 50K has a $3,000 profit target, a $2,000 max loss, no daily loss limit, a cap of 5 minis or 50 micros, a 50% evaluation consistency rule and 2 minimum trading days. Once sim funded, the $2,000 max loss trails intraday including open P&L and locks at $100.
How is MyFundedFutures Rapid EOD 50K different from Rapid 50K?
Rapid EOD 50K keeps the $3,000 profit target and $2,000 max loss but allows 3 minis or 30 micros, uses a 30% consistency rule and needs 4 minimum trading days. Once sim funded its max loss trails only at each session close, so intraday highs do not raise it. Only the Rapid EOD article states a 7-day inactivity rule and a max of 3 funded accounts.
When can I get paid on a MyFundedFutures Rapid account?
You need $2,100 in realized profit before the first request. Payouts are then daily with a $500 minimum, the first one 24 hours after your first funded trade, and the split is 90/10.
Can open profit tighten my MyFundedFutures Rapid max loss?
Yes. Once sim funded, Rapid's $2,000 max loss trails your equity high during the day, including unrealized profit, and does not come back down if the trade reverses. Rapid EOD's only moves when a session closes at a new high.
Do I keep 5 minis when a Rapid 50K account goes Live?
No. Live 50K allows 3 minis / 30 micros on both plans, so a Rapid 50K trader drops from 5 minis to 3 on Live. Rapid EOD 50K already uses 3 / 30 in sim funded. If several Rapid accounts move to Live together, MFF combines them into one Live account and sets contracts with the Live team.
