The short answer
Take Profit Trader says 36.22% of all its Trading Tests were passed between January 1 and December 31, 2025, with the trader reaching the PRO account in that window. That is the firm's disclosure about its own 2025 tests, not a forecast of yours. Trading is futures only, on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT products.
Key facts:
- 36.22% of all Trading Tests passed, January 1 to December 31, 2025; a pass means the trader attained the PRO account within that window.
- Among the pages we read, the figure appears only in the homepage Trading Test Disclaimer, with no breakdown by account size or month.
- Products: futures listed on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT. Stocks, options, forex, cryptocurrencies and CFDs are not supported.
- The Approved Instruments article is the concrete permitted list; unlisted instruments can be sent to Live Chat Support for review.
- Rule 4 hours: the trading day ends at 5 PM Eastern, open positions are closed automatically at 4:55 PM Eastern, and no position carries into the next trading day.
Watch out:
- An older homepage FAQ still quotes 20.37% for 1/1/23 - 8/31/23 as a share of currently registered users. Different period, different population; do not read it alongside 36.22%.
- The firm counts tests, not traders. It does not say how resets or several tests by one trader are counted.
- MBT and MET are listed as 'Micro Bitcoin Futures and Options' and 'Micro Ether Futures and Options' while the homepage says options and cryptocurrencies are not supported; ask support before trading them.

What the firm says about the pass rate
Take Profit Trader's homepage carries a Trading Test Disclaimer. Verbatim: 'Our Trading Test is challenging, and between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, 36.22% of all Trading Tests were successfully passed, with traders attaining the PRO account within this timeframe.' The same paragraph describes the evaluation as a challenging assessment designed to simulate real market conditions, says passing requires a high level of skill and experience in trading, notes that even seasoned traders often find the challenge demanding, and recommends the Trading Test primarily for those with substantial trading experience. The figure appears only in that homepage disclaimer; none of the help-center articles we read repeats it, and the firm publishes no breakdown by account size, month or platform.
What this means for you: Treat 36.22% as the firm's report card for its 2025 tests, not as your odds.
How to read a pass rate
The population is Trading Tests, not traders: the disclaimer counts tests passed as a share of all Trading Tests in the window, and a pass means the trader attained the PRO account within that window. The pages do not say how a reset, a trader running several tests at once, or a test that started in 2025 and finished in 2026 is counted, so we do not restate the figure as a share of traders. It is a firm-published figure for the firm's own population over a stated period. It is not a forecast of any individual's result and it does not transfer to other firms, whose evaluations have different targets, drawdown rules, consistency rules and fees. The current Test rules are in our rules-by-account-size guide; the payout rules after a pass are in our PRO vs PRO+ guide.
What this means for you: Ask what was counted before you compare any two pass rates; here it is tests, not traders.
Allowed products: four exchanges, futures only
The homepage's Allowed Products note says the platform grants access to futures products listed on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT, and that the program and platforms do not support or facilitate trading in stocks, options, forex, cryptocurrencies or CFDs. Rule 4 in the help center says you may trade most futures products listed on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX, and to contact support if an order is rejected for a product you believe should be allowed. The concrete set is the Approved Instruments article, which lists each permitted contract by symbol. CME: 6A Australian Dollar, 6B British Pound, 6C Canadian Dollar, 6E Euro FX, 6J Japanese Yen, 6N New Zealand Dollar and 6S Swiss Franc futures; ES E-mini S&P 500, NQ E-mini Nasdaq-100 and RTY E-mini Russell 2000; MES, MNQ and M2K micro index futures; M6E Micro EUR/USD and M6A Micro AUD/USD; LE Live Cattle; MBT Micro Bitcoin Futures and Options; MET Micro Ether Futures and Options. CBOT: YM E-mini Dow ($5) and MYM Micro E-mini Dow; ZT 2-Year, ZF 5-Year and ZN 10-Year T-Note and UB Ultra U.S. Treasury Bond; ZS Soybean, ZL Soybean Oil and ZW Chicago SRW Wheat. NYMEX: CL Crude Oil, MCL Micro WTI Crude Oil and NG Henry Hub Natural Gas. COMEX: GC Gold, MGC Micro Gold, SI Silver and HG Copper. The article says it is the trader's responsibility to trade the correct contract, and that you can ask Live Chat Support to review adding an instrument that is not listed.
What this means for you: If a symbol is not in the Approved Instruments table, ask Live Chat before you place the order.
Approved hours (Rule 4)
Rule 4 is titled Trade Approved Products During Approved Hours, so the product list comes with a clock. Positions cannot be carried from one trading day into the next. The futures trading window runs from 6 PM Eastern to 5 PM Eastern, the trading day ends at 5 PM Eastern, and Take Profit Trader automatically closes any open position at 4:55 PM Eastern. You may reopen positions from 6 PM Eastern, but any trade opened at or after 6 PM counts toward the next trading day. If the market for your product closes before 5 PM Eastern and you cannot exit before that deadline, the account is liquidated. Market hours can change due to holidays; it is the trader's responsibility to monitor holiday schedules, and missing a holiday-adjusted close results in liquidation.
What this means for you: Be flat before 4:55 PM Eastern, and earlier if your product closes earlier.
Where Take Profit Trader's pages differ
(a) Options and crypto wording: the homepage says the platforms do not support trading in options or cryptocurrencies, while the Approved Instruments list includes 'Micro Bitcoin Futures and Options' (MBT) and 'Micro Ether Futures and Options' (MET) on CME. The article introduces its table as a list of futures instruments, but neither page says whether an options leg on MBT or MET is tradable or how the cryptocurrency exclusion applies to them, and we do not resolve it. Ask support before trading either. The CME currency futures on the list sit against the homepage's 'forex' exclusion the same way; the pages do not reconcile that either. (b) 'Most' vs a finite list: Rule 4 says you may trade most futures products listed on the four exchanges, while the Approved Instruments article is a fixed table and tells you to ask Live Chat Support to review anything not on it. We use the article as the permitted list. (c) Two pass figures on one homepage: the Trading Test Disclaimer gives 36.22% of all Trading Tests passed between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, while an older FAQ answer on the same page says that 'from 1/1/23 - 8/31/23, 20.37% of our currently registered users at Take Profit Trader have successfully passed a trading test.' The period differs (January to August 2023 vs all of 2025) and so does the population (currently registered users vs all Trading Tests), so the two are not the same metric and we do not compare, average or trend them. (d) Hours by product: Rule 4 gives one futures window ending at 5 PM Eastern but also says to always know the specific hours for the product you are trading; the Approved Instruments article links each product to view its current contract rather than its hours. Neither page lists per-product closing times.
What this means for you: When two of the firm's pages disagree, do not pick one yourself; ask support before trading MBT or MET.
What we do not do with this figure
We do not forecast your odds from it, we do not compute a failure rate or a per-trader rate from it, and we do not compare it with other firms' disclosures, which define a pass differently. If Take Profit Trader updates the disclaimer for a new period we will update the figure, period and wording together; the check date on this page is the date we last read the homepage and the two help-center articles. The pass rate tells you how the firm's own 2025 tests ended, not what will happen to yours.
What this means for you: Use the figure to gauge how hard the firm says its Test is, then read the rules that set that difficulty.
FAQ
What is the Take Profit Trader Trading Test pass rate?
Take Profit Trader discloses on its homepage that between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, 36.22% of all Trading Tests were successfully passed, with traders attaining the PRO account within that timeframe. It is a firm-published figure for its own tests over that period, not a forecast of any individual's result, and the firm says even seasoned traders often find the Test demanding.
Is 36.22% the same as the 20.37% figure in Take Profit Trader's homepage FAQ?
No. The 36.22% is the share of all Trading Tests passed between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. The 20.37% comes from an older FAQ answer on the same page and covers 1/1/23 - 8/31/23, measured as the share of the firm's currently registered users who had passed a trading test. Different period, different population; we do not compare or combine them.
What can you trade at Take Profit Trader?
Futures only, on products listed on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT. The homepage says stocks, options, forex, cryptocurrencies and CFDs are not supported. Rule 4 says most futures products on those exchanges; the help center's Approved Instruments article is the concrete permitted list, and you can ask Live Chat Support to review adding an instrument that is not on it.
Can you trade Bitcoin or Ether futures at Take Profit Trader?
The Approved Instruments list includes MBT Micro Bitcoin Futures and Options and MET Micro Ether Futures and Options, both on CME. The homepage says the platforms do not support options or cryptocurrencies; the pages do not reconcile the two, so confirm with support before trading either product.
What are Take Profit Trader's approved trading hours?
Under Rule 4 the futures trading window runs from 6 PM Eastern to 5 PM Eastern, the trading day ends at 5 PM Eastern, and Take Profit Trader automatically closes any open position at 4:55 PM Eastern. Positions cannot be carried into the next trading day; a trade opened at or after 6 PM counts toward the next day, and if your product's market closes before 5 PM Eastern and you cannot exit in time, the account is liquidated.
